[Laura is walking through the now colourful land of Asgard. She looks less like someone who is appreciating the beauty of nature and more like a caged animal pacing.

She raises her communicator to give a panoramic view of a multi-hued area of the streets of Asgard, moving it around to prove her points.]

The gods cannot be relied on to keep their word. They will probably try to hold onto us for insurance.

[Pessimistic? Just a bit. But then, Laura has never been a ray of sunshine. It's not in her nature to see the bright side of life.]

They will keep whoever has been useful to them.

I don't know... Some of them seem like they might be like that, some of them seem like they might not.

I doubt they will concern themselves with who wants to stay and who does not.

Well... Unless there's something we can do about it, I think we might as well keep our spirits high.

We can organize and try to determine their true goals.

I guess... I dunno, though. Look, I think they deserve a little bit of the benefit of the doubt. They've treated us better than they had to.

They have fed us and given us shelter. Had they not done at least that much, no one would fight for them.

Yeah, and they don't make us do anything most of the time. And there's all those weird parties. I'm not saying it makes up for it, but it's a plus.

I have never attended one of the parties.

You'll probably get a chance sooner or later.

I would not know what to do at one, anyhow.

Umm... Dance, eat, have a good time...?

[Nope, doesn't sound like a good time to Laura.]

...I see.

[No, she doesn't.]

You'll have to try it sometime.

I suppose it could not hurt.

Next time they hold one, okay?
