Hachaaaaaa, this thing is even more complicated than—ah! Wait! There it is!

[Someone was more interested in her map than the explanation about her bracelet. Whoops. The girl that appears looks decidedly too cheerful for someone in the situation she’s found herself in- but if there’s anything Mikuru can take in stride, it’s a request to help people, even if the request is a bit unorthodox. But then, taking things in stride is something Mikuru’s got a pretty good handle on period.]

Yo~! [A quick, chipper wave.] Nazume Mikuru speaking- Mikuru Nazume, if there are any Westerners here! I’d like to ask a few questions, if everyone doesn’t mind? Mostly about where people are from, what sort of things they do, you know- to get a better idea of what we’ve got to work with! So if you’re okay with answering stuff like that, or if you have any suggestions about things I should ask, let me know, okay? I’m sure if we all work together we can have this situation resolved in no time!

[She hopes. She also hopes she’s not the only cop here, or the only person who’ll try and enforce laws, if others are keen on breaking them.]

[ooc: Mikuru is pretty much using this to get a feel on people, and to see if there's anyone she should be keeping an eye on. She's got a pretty keen eye for bad-guy types, but if you'd rather she not be able to tell, of if it's canon most people can't, let me know, okay?]

You've got a really good attitude about this. [A bit solemn for delivering a compliment, but that's just how Nakama rolls. Then she bows in return, as is polite.]

Um... I'm Mako Nakarai, but I go by Nakama, I'm from Japan, and I'm - I was a student and a seamstress back home.

Haaaa, I can't say I've ever heard of that... but then again, I haven't been living in Japan all that long, so...

Oh- that actually sounds pretty nice... [Not really, because Mikuru can be kind of closed-off, but most teenage girls would think it was, in a way.]

Yeah! It's not that much different than middle school really- everyone's just bigger and the boys are even dumber..!

Until the comment about boys, which gets a kind of confused look. She's always had better luck with boys than girls, even here.]

Ah - no. Only the people I've met since I got here. But they're really nice and have helped me out a lot, so it's not that bad.

Yeah. I don't think it's a bad place. [Very seriously.] All the grey is kind of sad, and I know it wasn't right for the gods to just... take us like that. But I think they really needed us, like they were desperate because their world was fading away, and... now that I'm here, I won't let that happen.
