1st Duty
[The last thing the maid and the paper should have ever said was that Agrias had a new duty. After all, she'd not been commanded to move from her station, especially not be anyone she didn't know. A last ditch effort to save the kingdom was about to be put into action and she needed to be there. So when she instead finds herself in a dull room instead of before her old church, she became livid, naturally.
The video feed turns on, showing her standing proudly in her armor, a determined, stern look spread on her face. Better get used to that expression, she'll be using it a lot today.]
Gods? Holy? Your words are a jape at best and it would behoove you to still your tongues.
[A small tch escapes her before she tries to reach out, flicking this odd device on her and focusing it.]
If anyone out there can indeed hear my words, tell these so-called gods that I belong not with this Heimdall, but with the Princess and her country. My duty lies there, as it always has. They mock the very concept of honor and duty by thinking they could replace mine so easily. The sooner I can return to their side as a trusted swordarm, the better we all will be. Thank you, and good day.

[Now that's overly formal. She doesn't remember the last time she was called that. Lady, yes, but not ma'am.]
Seems I am not alone in this situation. How unfortunate to hear. They took you and now refuse to listen to your pleas as well?

[Good call, that gets you a bit on her good side already. Her words soften just a bit.]
Sounds like they're nothing more than a band of brigands then. Perhaps occultists claiming to be holy figures, trapping us to do their bidding?
voice;
( ) Doesn't seem to matter whether they're brigands, occultists, or actual gods from a realm none of us are familiar with. They've got the power to back up any claims they're making, and it doesn't seem like we're not getting out of here any time soon.
voice;
[A sigh. This is sounding worse and worse by the second. However, she knows a soldier must remain calm and think t his through.]
So we will need to fortify ourselves just in case. What kind of power do you speak of? Magicks? Brute force?

Stupid culture clashes.]
I am familiar enough with such levels of magick. We will have to tread very lightly, then. Those that prefer such tricks tend to be quite cunning. Anyone can throw a punch or swing a sword, but it takes a lot more to cast well.
My thanks for the information. About how long has everyone been here?

voice;
Here being this self-professed to be holy Asgard? Where exactly is this? I know of no place in Ivalice named such.
voice;
What's the phrase... Something to do with not being in Kirkwall anymore. Though I'm sure that means as little to you as Ivalice does to me.
voice;
If that is the case, I wonder what else they could manage.
voice;
[ well, that's a dire way to look at it. ]
Especially when some of us have important business to take care of back home. Business that...really can't wait any longer than it already has.

Though would it not beseem a god well to listen to our pleas? No god of mine would let this remain unanswered, ignoring us, treating us like wastrels instead of men. It reeks more of a cruel joke than it does genuine concern.

[Yeah let's focus on manners, this sounds like a great idea right now.]
[audio]
....What.
[audio]
Is that any way to address someone proper? Have ye no manners? Now is not the time to be making enemies through poor word!

...Because obviously the rest of us brought here against our will have a gods ear enough to make them listen to reason.

How many have these gods taken for their own?

[He shrugs a ahoulder and props his chin on the palm of his hand, not bothered by her lack of expression.]

[He chuckles softly, more amused than anything.]
If I knew how to read the mind of a so-called-god, that'd be quite the advantage in a place like this, wouldn't it?
