Two ☼ Video
[Rose doesn't tend to use video or voice feeds, but this one is for a special occasion. The video feed clicks on to Rose...simply sitting in her room, a cup of tea in her hand, and nothing more. The bracelet seems to be sitting on a nearby table. There's a tenseness to her, though, a strange, tight-lipped look.
This lasts a few minutes, actually. It's hard to see, but she appears to be gripping the teacup so tightly that her knuckles are turning white.
She takes a long drink from the cup in her hand, draining it entirely, before setting it back down. She casts a look to the clock in her room. Four minutes. Not long now. She turns back to the video, leveling it down again with a gaze.
It's a hard stare. It's an angry one.]
Allow me to extend my gratitude to our ever-benevolent hosts, for their prompt consideration of my request.
I'm sure the purpose of your favor will be duly noted.
[She wants to scream and rage and make the entire city turn in on itself. She could do it. She knows she could. But her Seer's eye showed her such an outburst would be useless. No point in it at all, and it would just make things all the harder for her once she returns.
She will return. She'll be back before the day's over. It's not like she hasn't died before, and with the way her fate is slated, Rose doubts she'll even feel anything.
But the heat and the building pressure still makes her hands shake, and she folds them together even more tightly, eyes never moving from the camera on the video feed.
Five. Four. Three. Two. One.]
[It's like a balloon popping. One moment there was Rose- a pretty, blonde girl who couldn't be more than thirteen- and the next there wasn't. Just a loud, wet BOOM and all that was left was a bloody stump where her head would be. Her hands folded neatly in her lap. The white shirt she was wearing splattered red like a makeshift tye-dye or maybe a costume for Halloween. Blood and bone and gore painting morbid stripes through her cluttered room. Had she known she would have been putting on a show, maybe she would have cleaned it; not that it matters now, with the way it looks.
There's an eerie, dead silence as what remained of Rose Lalonde lurched forward and fell to the floor with a dull thud, before the bracelet mercifully cuts the feed.
Perhaps the gods thought their citizens had witnessed enough.]
(OOC: Housemates of Odin are welcome to barge into her room and handle any commenters, and you're all welcome to thread amongst yourselves; Rose left her door unlocked for this occasion.)

[ Busy retching over the side of her bed right about now. THANKS ROSE. ]
[Audio?] 1/?
The one who talked to her a bit upon arrival. Rose, wasn't it?
She doesn't seem to look good. Maybe she was another one among the stabbed people of the past days, but the surroundings don't give the idea of a hospital. Hanako is confused.
She hits the audio button when Rose finishes her short speech. She's worried, and that girl was nice to her so maybe it's a good thing to at least show concern.]
... Miss Lalonde, are you alrigh-
[Action?] 2/3
Like in a horror movie, which by the way she'd never watch, Hanako witnesses the instant death of the Rose girl. It was so quick that the words that she wanted to speak istantly die in her throat as if she's being strangled by invisible hands. What... was that? Where's her head gone? Why is there so much blood???
And then Hanako's guts churn from the inside, and she drops the bracelet like it istantly burnt her skin, effectively turning the feed off.]
[Action] 3/3 TW for panic attack below
She wobbles out of her room, quickly towards the bathroom. Good thing the one person who's suppost to share it with her is being idle ever since she was taken in this House, and nobody's in the corridor.
... There goes the lunch she'd eaten with Hisao earlier in the day.
After she's done, Hanako merely leans against the toilet's edge and cries warm tears, shivering and whimpering softly for a good while.]

I have no icons that adequately express his horror. Small video.
Now? Her head had exploded, the video feed was dead and he was left sitting there, looking at other people's responses to the entry pile up. He saw Hanako's inamongst them and knew THAT wasn't good.
To his credit, he managed to keep his previously eaten lunch in check.]
....this is some kind of.... CGI prank, right? Special effects? Like in the movies? Hello?
video;
But not like this. Not turned into a spectacle, televised for all to see, when a girl she doesn't know suddenly ceases to be, without the click of a trigger being necessary. She's stopped thinking of Asgard as a safe place since the stabbings, but spontaneous combustion was still an impossiblity, or so she had thought.
Apparently not.
She's gone even paler than usual, her expression grim as she immediately shuts off the visual even before the feed cuts itself.]

From somewhere within Sigyn comes a high-pitched shriek that doesn't seem to end.]
1/idk ok
To be honest she had been avoiding the girl ever since arriving here. Why? Even she wasn't really sure. Perhaps because she doesn't live up to 'Roxy Lalonde' that Rose knew. Or maybe it was that sinking feeling she got when Dave mentioned the passive aggressive arguments Rose had discussed with him.
What if Rose didn't like her?
She's no so sure that she could handle that.]

No time like the present, Lalonde.]
[video] sob this
..Although she is silent for a good thirty seconds. What should she even say? Perhaps she should just start off with a greeting, and take it from there.]
Hello, Rose. [A small smile creeps across her lips]

[Suddenly there is blood everywhere. Why is there blood? Blink blink. What the fuck?
And then her brain finally processes what she just saw in that split second. ]
R-rose?
[This is some sort of cruel trick, right?]
nope still not done
OK i think i am done. for now. 8(
[video]
And then her head explodes, and he recoils in horror, eyes widening. It wasn't as if he'd never seen anything horrifying-no, he'd had his share of sights that would cause most people to have nightmares for days on end. But it's just the fact that, again, the gods knew that this would happen before they did it, before they returned powers to the people who'd asked for them.
He can't-He can't just lie here recovering anymore. He has-he's got to do something, anything! Who cares about him when people are dying?!
So he's actively sitting up, wincing at the pain that shoots through him, but he doesn't care. He's going to get out of the room even if it kills him.]

Bravo! Bravo!
[exploding heads are more her style, and that was a spectacular one!]
Perhaps these Gods are not so pathetic after all!
[video] + tl;dr 'not here'
Because if the Seer of Light can't see the path, the choices out of a mess like that, as well as the one they're all in, what hope do any of the rest of them have?
She watches until Rose's body falls, and when the camera shuts off, she stands and makes her way to her door. She pauses there a second, not quite sure what she should do despite the thousand and one courses of action running through her head. The worst part is that she can't just try all of them until one sticks anymore- not that she really would, regardless. In the end she settles for opening the door and heading downstairs to find cleaning supplies. Maybe she can at least get Rose's room cleaned up before anything else, just so that no one has to deal with the sight and the inevitable smell for too long.
Then, perhaps, she'll throw what remains of Rose a nice corpse party.]
[Not Here]
Nonetheless, he'll be waiting to see if Rose reappears or not.]
not here;
And then her head explodes, Ezio closing his eyes and wincing afterwards, unable to say anything at all. She was just a girl, just a girl. Did they have no mercy? None?? The Italian can only take so much, from seeing just one suffer from internal bleeding.
Though nowhere near Rose, not even knowing her, he still wishes she didn't have to die like this.]
Requiescat in pace.
So much for that.
In Sigyn, there is a small thud from room 404 as Hibiki falls to the ground, feeling horrified and sick.]
The poor nation is nothing less than terrified, such a site is unknown to him. Eyes wide. Body visibly trembling. He feels nauseous. Dizzy.]
What--
This can't be real.. [His voice is just a whisper.]
[Tears begin welling in Matt's eyes, his face growing paler. He can't handle this. It isn't before too much longer that he succumbs as well and blacks out on his bed.]

Even he's a little shaken by that.]
...well, thhit, Lalonde.
[That's about all he can think to say.]
video;
This is one of the few times that Boss is actually shocked or surprised.]
Holy shit.
[He's actually kind of pissed about this.]
[Video-->Text]
[He can't fathom it...He can't even...
[It just...doesn't register for a minute. There's a painful twisting in his stomach and then...nothing. Nothing for the longest time...God, it feels like the longest time...
[He lurches forward, ducking his head down and out of view before vomiting nothing more than stomach bile onto his carpet. The fit lasts for a few minutes before he's able to lift his head again, eyes wide and teary, mouth still agape.]
Rose...
Goddammit...ROSE--
[What is he doing...What is he doing?! He knows that she can't hear him, she's--
[No...no, she'll be back. If he came back, then she'll be back too...So, if he sends her a message, then when she does get back...]
I am freaking the fuck out here Rose. I swear to God, do not pull any bullshit on me, the motherfucking SECOND you wake up and get this, you text me back, or call me, or SOMETHING.
I can't take it, okay. This is not cool, this fucking horrible.
PLEASE text me back the SECOND you get this. PLEASE.

She had no plans to respond to any of them, really. That gods wanted a show, and she gave them one. She didn't want to deal with the backlash she didn't deserve.
Xavier, though....Xavier gives her pause. Xavier is different. She watched him die, was there for him in his last moments.
If anyone would understand, it would be him.
She opens the text option. Pauses. Hits four buttons between the shaking of her hands.]

Moments later, he is proven right. As her head explodes from her body, the blood so sickly, emenating itself all over her body. He wants to do so many things. He wants to scream, he wants to shout a million unforgettable curses, and he wants to cry.
But most of all, he's sick.
He's sick and he doesn't respond.
He gags seconds later, and a more repulsive "BLUGH!" shoves itself up his throat after that. And goes back to the other side of his room to the toilet, running, rushing, where he begins to throw up.
And the name on his lips as he churls...
is Rose. ]
