As things are proceeding smoothly, this seems as good a time as any. How unfortunate that I wouldn't be able to open sooner, with all of the fuss about the Ides. Ah, well.
[The shrug is evident in his voice, clear that he doesn't actually care at all, so he continues without much of a pause] In roughly two to three weeks time, I will be opening a bar and lounge, called Lux. It will be a more pleasant alternative to Sky's Prize, which is entirelly too Norse for my tastes. Besides offering a wider variety of drinks, it will also offer live entertainment nightly. Naturally, this means that I'm seeking employees.
[And the feed switches to text]
I will also accept inquiries and questions, as well as suggestions for the kind of fare that should be served. I'll admit that my tastes in this area run a bit on the lavish side, so I'd like to adjust to my clientele appropriately.
[There's a cool, easy smile in his voice] Thank you for your time. I look forward to reviewing your applications and seeing your auditions.
private text; to Johan Liebert
((ooc: Basically, you can respond to this post with questions about Lux, or if a character fills out an application, he'll interview them/have them audition. If you have any questions, let me know! If your character applies for either, please fill out an OOC application! The regular employee's is here and the entertainment's is here. This is just the IC equivalent, but I need the OOC one to keep track.))

I have an additional position to offer you, if you would be so interested. I have a managerial position that I need filled, and you are the only one I have met that I would deem competent for the responsibility. We can discuss the matter further, of course.

Then I will tell you honestly that the first is true, and the second is a matter of opinion. I have my own goals that I wish to reach, and they are most important to me, above all else. However, they are admittedly rather lofty, so only gods and like beings tend to get involved.
I never liked the personification of evil bit, though. It's a bit of heavenly propaganda, but ah, well. Rebel against your Creator, and of course your brethren will be displeased about it. But whether I am evil or not, that depends on the individual's perspective. Good and evil are not so black and white.

See, that doesn't sound like anything to get worked up over! I was kind of chalking those bad reactions to the other Lucifer up to them being human, because this is exactly how humans react when it comes to demons back home. And angels like you and Cheriour [and Castiel] are a lot more like stagnant demons to me.
Even the gods back home could help you out but two minutes later decide to screw you over. In fact, there's one really well known story about how gods are never just benevolent and kind.
[In other words, it's hard for her to understand this since there's no equivalent to Christianity, or Judeo-Christian angels, or figures like Lucifer.]

Well, that bit of knowledge about gods is quite true, though that may be my pessimism showing.

Perhaps. But people of all kinds are a bit weak-minded. You can't blame them for a truly endless amount of stories that proclaim both of us as that ultimate evil. That, and for those that have encountered me throughout the centuries, not many of them have a positive experience.

I am! My mother told me tons of bedtime stories about the undead and Growers, which are some of the scariest things to Witches, and I'm not scared of them at all!
[Which is a fucking liiiiiieeeeee.]
