[ A device like this is little trouble for her to decipher and use; in fact it’s a little like home, using her ID card to keep in touch with people. ] Hello? My name is Safu. [ A short pause. ] I assume I’m speaking to other Travellers in the Eventide.

I’d like to know who’s been here the longest because I’d information about this place’s systems and the duties. The woman who greeted me spoke vaguely, so I’d appreciate any knowledge shared. I was told I was of the house of Odin and that I had a power, but I forgot to ask what sort of power.

[ Another pause, and then a statement that’s tacked on like an afterthought. ] ...also, if anyone knows a place where I can purchase sewing materials, that would also be appreciated. Thank you. [ Safu ends her first post there; it’s not how she usually speaks, but she keeps it polite and to the point. ]

[The voice that comes over the feed is a familiar one, slightly breathy and just short of dumbstruck.]

Safu.

[Shion feels his heart lurch. Her voice was all too familiar, and hearing it again so suddenly without any warning or prior notice nearly brought him to tears.

She's really here. The Safu he hadn't seen since the time they parted is right here. He can talk to her with no effort, just like before when he continuously took it for granted. Safu is here and safe and no longer in the correctional facility, she's alive and hopefully unharmed, truly within reach this time, and all he wants to do is call out her name over and over and have it be answered. Safu, can you hear me? It's me, Shion.

Before any more words can be said, he finds himself running before he can even process that his feet are moving faster than his brain.

[Have a very shy girl's voice muttering from an audio comment.]

...I'm n-not here for a long time... I'm sorry I can't help you much, but... I hope y-you can find your friends here... a-and people are nice...

[Pauses for a bit]

It's okay, I sort of forgot to ask too... I'm still not sure which one I have.

There's a fabric and sewing materials shop in Freyr - if you don't mind switching to video, I can give you more information. There's also a tailor shop, if you're looking for a job, but their hiring is pretty tough.

[ Her own heart lurches as she grips the device tightly. ] Shion? You're...here too?

[ This was almost absurd in a way. She had more chance of seeing him here than in No. 6. What sort of irony was that?

Where was he, was he all right...all the questions were flooding in her mind and she keeps herself from asking, choosing instead swallowing the lump clogging her throat. ]

[ She's been reduced to just saying his name. How pathetic of herself, she thinks, but it didn't matter.

[ Hello there, you're the first person not from her world to greet her, and she appreciates it. ] That's okay.

Is there a way to find out? Someone I could ask? [ On another note. ] What sort of powers do exist?

[ She switches over. ] Thank you. And, no, I'm not looking for a job just yet. I just want to repair this-- [ She gestures to the rip in her coat and the missing button. ]

How I'm supposed to help here. What my powers are. Or...if I can get a basic understanding of how everything works, that'd be helpful.

I'm not sure what kind of powers you get if you're in Odin's house, but someone from your house would probably be better at explaining. What kind of stuff do you like to do? For my power, it was drawing related, so I figured it out pretty quickly.

Oh, and-...Hold on. [He starts moving around his room (gosh, it's a mess with all the junk he's drawn thrown all over the place), and the feed moves with him until there's a view of his desk...which is covered in way too many art and sewing materials.] I got a lot of extra materials if you want some.

Um...I'm sure there's some who could tell you. Maybe the Library?

[She seems nice. Also she is in the same house as Iceland who is basically his baby nephew so maybe she's a way of keeping tabs on him...

I haven't run into anyone from my house yet..but I enjoy studying science and the like.

[ He's very helpful! ] Oh, thank you--how much would I have to pay? I just need thread, needles, and if you have a collection of buttons that'd be helpful.

[ She's never watched people before...but who knows, she might not be bad at it.

A little taken aback, though. ] Why? [ Curious. ] And by why I mean...you don't know me. [ People were seemed less reserved that what she's used to. ]

[ So they arrived at around the same time... ] It's a large change from what we're used to. I still don't know how I'd help here.

[Pauses.] To be honest... m-me neither... I only know that I have one power...

[She sounds excited, though that's really more her default state.]

At least, I think I was, because when the group I was with showed up no one at all seemed to have been here earlier than us and we got to see the gods in charge and there was a big party.

Huh...I don't know how a power would work around science. [He's only an artist(?) and the son of two tailors, after all.]
