Second Decree [voice/action]
[Anyone who might have been in the library that day may have noticed a certain tennis team captain speeding through books, yet another pile he's going through from his old one. He hasn't even gotten through half the library in that month, but it has yet to stop him from trying to figure out something, a slip-up or anything, that might have been in the books. Action was usually better, but with the way things have been, the only information he's getting is that the less they know, the more they get caught off-guard.
And he hates it when others exploit his weaknesses. That was his job to do.
And to anyone who observes even more closely, they might notice that despite his calm exterior, the underside of the table was already frozen, and the legs of it starting to give into the ice as well.]
Just where is it? How can such a vast library not have a single thing?
[When he finally turns in for the day, deciding to postpone it the next, he'll leave a message on the network.]
To the injured, make sure to rest and recover. Don't let your guard down for even a moment. [There a pause at that when he realizes what he said, before shaking his head and continuing. No, that was not important right now.] To those who can heal, help them immediately if you can. Your assistance is appreciated.
Boy, I'm coming over.
[And with that, he's off. Atobe was far from being his usual haughty self, and more contemplative than anything else as he makes his way to Sigyn. There's a certain edge to his movements, a sign that he's being very alert right now for anyone who may approach him as he makes his way to the hospital. He'll be taking short detours to talk to some of those he contacted in private, but otherwise his destination is secure.]

Something about Atobe's words ... who was this 'Boy'? Someone from home? Or was there a kid in Asgard who Atobe was familiar with--
Oh. Right.
Slipping his slippers on, Conan slipped his robe on, and set about gathering up the papers he'd been working on, tucking them all into the drawer of his hospital bedside unit. By the time Atobe arrived, he should see nothing more than a slightly paler than normal seven-year-old, left arm bandaged, engrossed in a detective novel.]
no subject
Well, it wasn't like Conan was gonna be doing anything questionable, right?]
How are you feeling?
no subject
Atobe-san! It's nice to see you.
I'm okay. Tired -- I guess I overdid it yesterday. My arm's healed, it's just the blood loss now.

Then don't push yourself, even the hardworking needs to rest sometimes. [Not that he knows if Conan did anything, but the impression he's gotten from the few times they've been together implied it for him. He knows hardworking people when he sees them.]

[Action]
Do you need help looking for something?
[Not that she knows this library any better. She just got here, after all. But he doesn't know that.]
[Action]
No, it doesn't seem like it. He was here frequently enough, not on all days, so if she had been here before, he could have missed her. At the moment, at least, the freezing ceases.]
Only if you've read through every single book in this place, a~n. Otherwise, no.
I don't believe I've seen you before.
[Action]
Only a~n? And no, I haven't read them. Yet. But I'm planning to. So what are you looking for? Two sets of eyes are better than one.
[Short hmph,] I didn't think this place was really that small. [She'll extend a small hand to him] I'm Fiona, and you likely haven't seen me before because I was just brought here.
[Action]
... Or well okay, he was. He'll focus on the second question then.]
Nothing you need to be concerned about. It's merely something of a personal interest.
The population of the people brought here is nothing compared to the number of students in Hyoutei. It would be hard to miss an old face. [He does have the courtesy to extend his own hand forward to shake hers.]
Atobe Keigo. How long ago did you arrive then?

Practising your abilities so diligently is admirable, but perhaps you should find a better medium for that. [He gives the table a pointed tap.]
action
I can assure you I'm capable of controlling my abilities enough not to freeze the library instead. [Which is the most he'd give about it. He still was working on receding the ice, though that's taking quite a bit to learn. Nothing he wasn't capable of achieving though.]
no subject
[Charles reaches for the pile, taking the book on top.] What exactly are you looking for?
no subject
It wasn't possible yet, it seemed, but he was getting close.]
Information about this Yggdrasil. [He decides to answer after a moment, as there was really no harm in telling people something like that.]

The words are appropriate enough for the situation, a~n. Is there a problem?

action;
She had gone out in search of solitude, away from her neighbors at Heimdall and visitors fretting over her, and had stumbled upon the library. ...Although she hadn't expected another person to already be there.
She hears him muttering, and considers going around him to find her own privacy. But perhaps he's looking for something of actual importance, so she approaches him further with mild curiosity, looking at the wooden table rapidly turning to ice.]
What are you searching for?
action;
Who are you?
action;
What have you found out?
action;
A~n? Quite demanding, aren't you? [He takes a glance at the book for a moment, concluding that it'll probably take him an hour or two to go through it if he read it quickly enough.]
I found out these gods are quite intent on giving useless information, and some seem to possess a bad taste in literature.
action; I'm sorry for being so late!
action; no worries! I've been busy with work ;;
