[ Most people would try to get away from their attacker; the first thought Cloud has, once his brain absorbs the shock of Tifa pulling a knife on him enough to have any thought, is catch up to her. It's too late of course, the illusion has already melted away into the crowd, and Cloud staggers aimlessly through the mass of gray before sagging against a wall. His free hand, the one not already covered in red, fumbles with the bracelet to reach her and it's a small mercy that it turns on to voice, not bloody video. ]
Tifa!
Tifa, come back. [ With his labored breathing it's too staggered to be an order, sounding more like a desperate plea. ] Tell me what I did. I can't... [ It's not in her to hate any but the most awful people and there's a surge of terror that he's done something, will do something in his future horrible enough to make him that. But it's still not right. She was talking to him normally, smiling, why would she do that if she hated him? And... ] It's not like you to run away. So...please, come back.
[ He's trying to stay on his feet, breathing heavily, waiting for Tifa to answer or reappear, but his legs are already trembling beneath him. There's a vague thought that he should have done something else--asked for a healer?--but the state of mind he's in, it doesn't seem to matter. From the spot where he stood chatting with "Tifa" (or being chatted at, big difference) up until the knife's appearance, to the alley where he's using the wall to keep him upright, there's a haphazard trail of blood spatters. Almost like a breadcrumb trail. ]
((ooc: apologies for not noting earlier, the action is for Vanille healing him!))

video.
video.
[ Don't ever take the "tough guy" act seriously when it's tinged with hysteria. He shakes his head, tries to suck down a breath and hisses at the pain in his side. ]
I... didn't go anywhere. Two blocks down [ and not even--though this isn't helpful since she doesn't know down from where ]...where are you? Why did you stab me?
video.
what did he just say? ] - Stab -?? I haven't even seen you yet today! And I would never hurt you, Cloud - [ Hearing him say that, ask that, hurts her. Cuts deep. Right to the core. ] - You know that, don't you?
video.
He still manages to somehow feel even worse at the hurt in her voice, ashamed, especially with Riku's explanation coming in. It wasn't her. He should've known it wasn't her. ] Y-yeah. I know. But...
[ If she had to...if he'd done something--it wouldn't be her fault. He would deserve it.
He does at least sound like he's pausing in his movements, though not quite at sitting down yet. ]
video.
[ She is hurt, hurt that he'd ever think she could really bring harm to him in any fashion, but she's pushing it down and masking it because the more important thing right now is for her to get to him and make sure he's properly cared for. ] We can talk about what happened later. This is more important.

...Hospital's in this district. Sigyn.
video.
Re: video.
Considering he's already in Sigyn, it takes him some time to get to the hospital. Hopefully it's taken her a little while too... but at least now, he's much steadier on his feet. He's still pale and listing to one side, but not outright staggering. His hand hasn't let go of his side but now it's more for comfort than trying to keep the blood in (considering the sorry state of his uniform, one would hope he's done bleeding). He approaches the hospital with some help, casting a weary and somewhat guarded look around for Tifa. ]
video
[There's someone else used to worrying about Cloud and dealing with him in trouble. He doesn't sound good.]
Hey, you okay? Where are you now?
video
I have to find Tifa.
[ He doesn't really sound like he's going to be running around the city to find anyone right now, though. :|a ]
video
[He's been looking after Cloud nearly constantly for the past months, and it's not an easy habit to break.]
Tifa's around, so I'm sure you can get in touch with her.
video
Other stab victims?
Why are there... That old man. ]
It--wasn't her. Ha. Should've known...
Hey, Zack. [ He sounds aaaalmost conversational, past the heavy breath. Though that's still not really right for the moment. ] It's the "Ides", isn't it?
video
[He nods.] What that old guy said? Right. Must be.
[He feels helpless, not being able to do anything more for Cloud. Like he'd been at the end. But he stays in contact with him. That's something.]
Look, is someone coming to get you? You need help.
video
Yeah, I know... getting there. The hospital. [ Zack can probably hear someone starting to approach and hail him from behind, too. ]
voice;
And in some time
Someone must have declared International Stabbing Day.
Riku's not happy seeing more people he knows get hurt, and even though Cloud and him are far from bros, he doesn't deserve a stabbing.]
Get to a hospital. Whatever you saw wasn't her.

Re: voice;
What... who was I talking to, then? Is that one of the House powers? [ Eaaaasy, Cloud. No harebrained ideas. ]
voice;
Look, we can come up with theories later. Even though it could be their fault. Right now, you need to get treated, or find someone that can heal.
[Voice]
Can you move well enough to make it to the hospital?
[Maybe not the gentlest way to start things out, but she doesn't have a lot of time and she's more than a little worried.]
[Voice]
.........Maybe. But...
[ He fails entirely at reassuring answers when his brain is breaking. :( Still stuck on 'Tifa stabbed me what', though he'll move past it soon. ]
[Voice]
Please, Cloud, come to the hospital. [She's learned by now of how everyone seems to be getting stabbed by those they care about, only-- this sounds very, very much like a trick.] There's nothing you can do right now. [Chasing the person that stabbed him just won't do anyone any good, illusion, trick, or otherwise.]
[Voice]
I'll...try. [ Not good enough. ] I'll get there.
[Voice]
You're sure? Do you need me to come find you? [Or someone to, anyway.]
[voice]
[ Tsukiko's another one of those hospital healers right now, and boy is she keeping her hands full with people coming in injured. Judging from the tightness in his tone, this one's another victim. ]
[voice]
[ ...at least his brain will start taping itself back together soon, but it definitely hasn't gotten to that stage quite yet. ]

Too...?!
[ No, something is definitely wrong there. Tifa...stabbing people? ]
no subject
But that's not the problem right now. Where can I find you? I can heal you right up.
no subject
Heading to the hospital. It's not as bad now, but... I'd appreciate if you could. [ Before Tifa has to see him. Dammit. ]

Cloud! You're here?! Is someone coming for you? Why is-- Where are you? I can help!
[voice]
( voice + action ) previously arranged!
H-hey! Are you o— [ She pauses mid-sentence, because it's then she notices what looks to be a trail of blood, along the wall, the pavement... And the faint sound of heavy breathing to go with it. She immediately shuts the bracelet off to follow the path, a little wary she might run into whatever it was that put someone in a state bad enough to leave a trail of blood for her to follow, afraid she might not be able to take it on by herself in her under-powered state.
Luckily, what she finds isn't the attacker... But the victim. ] Ah— you're..! [ The one from the broadcast. He had to be. She moves over, closing in on him. ] Just— hold still, okay? I'll— I'll heal you!
(action)!
that when Tifa tells him to stop
and he hears someone approaching from behind, calling for him to wait--a girl, probably not an attacker-yeah, and you thought that "Tifa" lookalike wasn't either
He stops and turns, looking at her with wary and wide, almost wild eyes. His hand is still pressed to his side firmly but uh. It's covered in blood itself, not stopping all of it. ]
You're ...from Sigyn?
[
...At least this was a fairly good place for being a stab victim]no subject
And that means I can heal you. But I need you to stay still so I can do that. Okay? Please?
no subject
Don't need to ask twice. [ Or say please. With everyone telling him to get his act together, he's starting to... at least when it comes to immediate care. ]

Worrying her lips, she holds her hands out, kneading her brow and focusing on the wound in front of her. Feeling a little dizzy, she watches intently as the wound begins to heal itself— stopping before it gets all the way. Her shoulders give a little slump. ] How's that? Do... You think you'll be able to make it to the hospital? It's not far— and I'll help you!
