[ because apparently he's too tired today to make it a voice post. you can see the interior of a building, all-fancy like. he seems to be sitting on a piano bench, looking just slightly pained.. cheerily addressing the camera! ]

I think a part of me knew that this place was out for our blood. Though I didn't expect it to be so literal.

[ he is also bleeding profusely from a gash on his side, which dyes his shirt and pants red, but clearly you can ignore that. he certainly is. ]

I wonder how many corpses are piling up. Is there a cemetery here? I've never checked. [ a bit more seriously, here-- ] Or maybe the dead don't need graves. But if so many people are getting stabbed and there aren't any bodies to bury, it feels a little cheap.

[ a hand to his head. and then he laughs, a little. and then he frowns. maybe he's just slightly hysterical, though he's keeping that under wraps. a finger glances over the keys of the piano, and he presses a few of them disjointedly. twinkling notes. ]

Is there any way to get blood out from between the keys? I think I got a little in here.

[ just then, a small, mewing sound. the camera tilts down almost unconsciously, focusing on a small kitten licking a bloody stain on the leather bench. a hushing sound-- ] Shhh, don't drink that. You'll get sick--

[ the cat meows. a sigh-- feed cuts. ]

[ if you had reacted more violently, he might've pulled out a knife. but it looks like his first reading on the situation was fairly accurate. he does, however, take a step back, and casually bares his free palm in a gesture of peace. ]
