Seems like this place is turning into a regular menagerie. Is it possible the animals are meant to be some sort of omen or portent, to go along with our Shakespearean visitors? Owls are symbols of death in some cultures, but lions tend to have positive connotations. Perhaps the lion is meant to represent Caesar? Your guess is as good as mine.

I've probably got a month or so in rent, I suppose? Depends on how much it costs. It's a lot easier to save money when you don't have to pay taxes or buy food or anything, though.
