003 // VOICE;

Everyone knows to steer clear of the big kitties, right? The owls probably aren't too friendly, either. They might have your eyes out of your skull if given the chance.

...So. Does someone out there have a theory about the sudden invasion of wild predators that's not completely bonkers or am I setting myself up for disappointment?

Uh... the gods are being weird? Maybe they came to avenge the ice fairies.

[That's French for no, there are no sane explanations.]

You never know. Maybe they were just protecting their ice families.

Well.

[Gau sounds very serious about this, and even has a notebook open, making notes. There's a shuffling noise as he works.]

When you stop to think about it, there are multiple deities on both sides of this battle. Each of the deities on the side we've been called to assist work in their own ways, offering different powers and prizing different traits.

[Pause.]

It only makes sense the other side is the same, right?

Well, from my understanding, the gods haven't been all that forthcoming about details regarding the war, so exactly who are enemies are is a little difficult to pinpoint.

[He pauses.]

Traditionally in the mythology from which these gods come from, there are enemies such as frost giants, which would make sense for the ice fairies. But then there was the dragon before that, as well. Sadly I don't know the details quite well enough, though there were some shapeshifters involved in the mythology as well.
