003 - [Video/Action]

[ After a certain fairly horrible conversation with a certain dirty perverted dog whose name may or may not be Shiage Hamazura, Chihaya hasn't really been at her room in Freyr much, nor has she been all that responsive to calls. So where has she been these past couple of days? ]

[ Holed up inside one of the theater's practice rooms, that's where, because there is totally no better way to cope with FEELINGS than to isolate yourself from human contact and sing until your throat is raw. And- normally, it would actually do an okay job of getting Chihaya's mood back to an even keel... ]

[ But while nothing she sings sounds off or different or even any less proficient than usual, Chihaya's literally stopping every half a minute to start over again. Nothing sounds right to her ears, and she's pouring everything she's got into correcting mistakes or flaws that only she can hear... she just can't get it together. ]

[ Chihaya's weary, frustrated, and looking like a mess, which means that she's triggering accidental video feeds every now and then, which (in turn) often ends with her muttering darkly, shutting off her bracelet, and going back to her practicing. ]

It is Takane's style, however, to appear out of nowhere, and no one will be able to account for having seen her enter the theater or locate the exact room, but after a minute, the door swings silently open and there she is, listening.

Yeah, she's not going to speak until you spot her. ]

[ Chihaya's had better days; her hair's a bit unkempt and she looks ragged around the edges. Her voice is still as good as it usually is, and she's running through Aoi Tori- ]

[ But it's not good enough for Chihaya, somehow. She stops and lets out a frustrated breath, turning away from the mirror- and she finally spots Takane. ]

Shijou-san!? When did you...

[ That Kugimiya voice Chihaya looks up and blinks- before glancing away, drawing in on herself. ]

[Maybe it wasn't the best day to be out, being chased all the way to the theater by lions isn't fun. He decide while he is there he might as well practice. He walks around to find a empty room to play in.

As he strolls along, he begins to play a simple melody on his flute. He's barely paying attention to his surround and enters the room Chihaya in by accident.]

[ Chihaya quickly turns, her focus (what little there is) broken by this sudden intrusion ]

Aladdin? What are you doing here-!?

[ Sudden applause!? Chihaya looks up, surprised- but then she looks back down ]

... thank you. It's- I suppose it's a start. [ It's praise, definitely, but it seems to take the heart out of her instead. ]

[ Chihaya blinks, coming off of auto-pilot. ]

[ Chihaya blinks. Well, she just pegged the nail right on the head. Chihaya's surprised enough to just go along with it, at least for now- ]

[ Miki tentatively slipped into the room, picking up her pace as soon as she spotted Chihaya. Running over to her, Miki gasps when she sees how disheveled the other idol looks. ]

[ W-WELL, she'd been hiding for a reason; Chihaya turns away slightly, looking shamefaced ]

[ Chihaya looks a little out of it; she doesn't seem to notice Yukari's question ]

[New place or not, Rue isn't one to stray far from music. She listens quietly, peeking into the room, until she leans too far and sends the door creaking slowly open.
