[The video feed flickers to life, and there is a man with dark hair gazing at the "screen" for all to see. There is something decidedly serpentine about the incline of his head, the way his lips are almost curled into a snarl, exposing a flash of white teeth before he speaks.

The man's voice itself is low, surprisingly so, for such a face; almost as if there is the perpetual rumbling, the sound of gravel, at the back of the throat.]

Zok bein. Even my own tongue does not come to me as it should, as naturally as I breathe. Instead my mind is filled with the muddled words of this foreign language, and my body weak.

[He then scoffs – the dry, humourless kind that could pass as a hiss.]

Who encases me in this prison of flesh, rips my Voice from my throat and takes away my wings? These "gods"? Meyye. I know nothing of these so-called gods.

[Man, he's just a bundle of sunshine, isn't he?]

In defeat, I have done nothing to warrant humiliation.

That's right! We usually spend time apart, but we always come back home at night. Mami knows that's not really the same thing as not being a dragon anymore, but she knows what it feels like to have the gods take away something really important.

If you say so, Alduin-san! It's probably different for dragons anyways, right? Let's see...maybe...if you have any questions about being a human, maybe Mami can help, though! She's an expert at it. Maybe you won't even be a human for long, and this is all just temporary anyways.

I do not wish to be human for long. Whether it is temporary as you say, it does not change that this body is... weak. Small.

Mami knows, and she wishes she could help you! It would probably involve a long quest and a potion she doesn't know how to make, though.

[You're... actually kind of speaking his language now.] All quests worth venturing upon are long. In this case, it would be worth the time.

[Mami is just a gamer...oh, well!] Right, right? If there's a dragon who's a human, then there has to be a way to undo it! Mami just isn't sure what kind of quest it is yet.

[Alduin almost seems to be contemplating this.] Perhaps more information can be found within this Asgard. There is what seems to be a library here. Mortals often keep their knowledge within the pages of books.

That would be a great place to start! Mami didn't even think about that. It's probably something we can't find on a computer, anyways...

Computer? [That is definitely not a word he's familiar with, and it rests strangely on his tongue.]

Mm, it's like...a typing machine! With a big screen, and tons of information on it. You just have to type in a few words, and sometimes it'll find the answer immediately!

[Alduin's furrowed brow suggests that he understands the concept that you're trying to explain, but can't envision it very well.]
