[The video feed flickers to life, and there is a man with dark hair gazing at the "screen" for all to see. There is something decidedly serpentine about the incline of his head, the way his lips are almost curled into a snarl, exposing a flash of white teeth before he speaks.

The man's voice itself is low, surprisingly so, for such a face; almost as if there is the perpetual rumbling, the sound of gravel, at the back of the throat.]

Zok bein. Even my own tongue does not come to me as it should, as naturally as I breathe. Instead my mind is filled with the muddled words of this foreign language, and my body weak.

[He then scoffs – the dry, humourless kind that could pass as a hiss.]

Who encases me in this prison of flesh, rips my Voice from my throat and takes away my wings? These "gods"? Meyye. I know nothing of these so-called gods.

[Man, he's just a bundle of sunshine, isn't he?]

In defeat, I have done nothing to warrant humiliation.

You plan on making them pay? That is of interest. Most here seem to be resigned to their fate.

[What is a dragon without flight? Not much of a dragon at all. Though he has been granted the power of flight due to his affiliation with the Baldr House, it was a far cry from what he was used to. It was an insult, even.] What else was taken?

Of course I do! I don't plan on just sitting here forever and doing nothing, you know. Most people here might be lame, but not me. I don't want to help these stupid gods! I'm not sure yet how I can get back at them, but I'm going to figure something out.

[ See, that she can understand. All of this is an insult! And stupid. Very stupid. ] I had all sorts of cool powers. I could manipulate impressionable people and make them do what I wanted! Not to mention I had all the luck. Literally! It was a pretty efficient way of defeating my enemies, hahahaha.

[A grin, one that may appear both disconcerting and slightly amused.] Then we share similar opinions of our situation. I do not wish to sit idly and play their game of colouring this world. That is not my purpose.

[Finally, someone who understands how degrading this all is!] What enemies did you have?

[ She's no stranger to disconcerting grins, though. In fact, she often gives them out herself! So she takes to that rather well, all things considered. This guy isn't so bad. ] You'd think more people would feel the same way! But no, it's all blah blah the gods might kill you blah we should help blah. I'm not buying it!

[ MAN, DOES SHE EVER UNDERSTAND. Now she's just a stupid normal kid again and it's gross. ): ] Plenty! But the worst was a demon called Jack Noir. He's insanely powerful, and managed to destroy a lot of very important pieces of our universe. He was still hunting us when I was brought here. I was going to go after him myself!

[This one has a strange way of talking, he notes to himself, but he can at least understand her general point.] Nor do I take kindly to it.

Destroying pieces of your universe? [It's spoken almost fondly, but then he continues:] You would need much power, indeed, to fell such a 'demon'.

It's nice to see someone else who isn't just going along with it!

[ ... the fond tone catches her attention. She may like this guy's attitude, but if he's a mad destroyer of worlds in his own right, he's no better than Jack. Why would he be fond of that much destruction? She'll have to pay closer attention. ] Well, duh! I had it, too. More than enough!

[Back in Skyrim, Alduin thought it would be pretty cool to take over the human race – which would fulfill an ancient prophecy having to do with the end of the world. It is his nature, and it's interesting to hear that other worlds shared similar situations.]

The power of manipulation and... luck, you said. More of a tactician than a kendov. A warrior.

[ Yeah, see -- no. That is a little less cool. Vriska is destructive by nature, but she always felt bad about it. At ... least when it was her friends. ... and she did kill thousands of trolls without blinking an eye. ... ok she can't really judge. ]

I don't know about that! I did a lot of fighting. Just because I was using my luck-based powers doesn't mean I wasn't getting my hands dirty! [ Goodness knows she was. ]

[Alduin believes there is one question that should easily clear that all up] Have you blood on your hands from your battles?

[ THAT is a very blunt question, actually. And her expression kinda shifts, her smile turning a little odd, but it remains. ]

Yeah. Kind of a lot, actually!

[You will find that Alduin is a very blunt person. Dragon. Whatever.]

Then you may call yourself a warrior.

[ Blunt is not really a bad thing. But in this instance it is getting to her. There is a rainbow of blood on her hands, and certain shades she's not that cool with. ]

Haha. Thanks for the permission, I guess?

Only... [a pause as the word comes to him] clarification, not permission. After all, I do not define who you are.

Of course you don't. I was being sarcastic, jeez! [ No you weren't Vriska. ] But it sounds like your world was a pretty bloody one. Like mine!

It has its battles, its bloodletting, in a long history. Between both men and dragon – perhaps it is a universal trait between worlds? War and violence.

I guess it must be. Though that is the weird thing! I always thought the human world was way more peaceful than mine. They have such different ideas about killing! But maybe it's another different universes thing.

And what world is it that you come from?

A planet called Alternia. My race is notoriously pretty bloodthirsty and has conquered most of the galaxy our planet is in!

Mm, dragons are fierce and [oppressive] headstrong by nature, as well. There was a time when the land was ruled by nothing other than our kind.

Our races share similarities. What do you call yourselves?

[ He'd probably like Her Imperial Condescension. ]

Trolls. And before I hear a word about it, we are nothing like the trolls of human fairy tales!

Let me guess. Big, ugly, and stupid?

And often violent.
