What the hell's goin' on here?!

[He is so beyond pissed right now. He's seated outside, from the looks of things, against a brick wall with a sword peaking out against his back, and another cradled protectively in his lap.

His Devil Bringer keeps the katana steady as he practically glares into his... bracelet.]

And I better not get that same stupid little speech from before. I’m supposed to live here? [He laughs a bitter, sarcastic laugh.] If you think I'm just gonna accept that, then you've got another thing coming!

[Threats aside, his glare lightens up a little after a moment, the biting edge in his tone softening just a tad.]

Kyrie, if you can hear this, I need you to tell me where you are...

[Icy blue eyes avert their gaze, focusing briefly on the now clenched fist of his non-human right hand, before the feed cuts.]

[He rolls his eyes, but on to more important things.]

What'd you scope out then? Start from the top.

Alright then... There are nine districts, one for each god. The general structure of the city is like a big circle, split into nine equally sized districts.

[ a pause, before he chuckles. ]

You could see that just from looking at your map though. But yeah, that's all accurate. At the center of it all is the palace... where everyone was mingling at the start. Spread out in each of the districts are a bunch of shops and things like that, but some have more prominent features... like an amusement park. I think the feature is meant to reflect something about the district. [ shrug. ]

If you try to get out... good luck. The wall around the city doesn't have any exits, as far as I could tell.

[Give him a second to digest all that... Nero might be a stubborn ass, but he gives credit where credit is due.]

Huh, I'm impressed. [He shrugs, trying to mask his compliment with flippancy.] Guess I'll check some of it out, then.

[And now back to the stubborn...]

But walls can be climbed. Just because there's no visible exit, doesn't mean there's no exit at all.

That's true. You could probably get over that wall. [ a nod. ] But what then? There's no telling what's out there.
