[When the camera turns on, one might be taken aback...hey, isn't this the same guy who just posted on the network a while ago, making popular culture references and speaking about being in Hel house? What's odd, though, is that he doesn't have those scars on his face anymore...if this is a different person, though, he looks exactly like the previous one, right down to those piercing blue eyes and calm voice.]

Some of you might be wondering why I'm making a post on the network again so quickly. You have undoubtedly already talked to me, haven't you? Some of you may already know what I am.

[A slight sigh.] Well...I want to say, that that man who made the post before and I are two different people.

[He lets that sink in, knowing that it will be hard for people to believe him at first, considering that, not only does he look like the King of Darkness, but also sounds like him and even acts like him, to a certain extent.]

My name is Jacob. And that man who looks like me...he's Lucifer. If you do not know who Lucifer is due to the fact you have no concept of him in your world, let me just say that Lucifer is another name for the Devil. As in, the personficiation of evil as well as the ruler of the Underworld and, in some cases, all the souls of the dead.

Basically...Lucifer is not good in the usual sense. Be careful before talking to him. He may be friendly and nice and charming...but never let your guard down. He is a being who does not associate with human beings in a good way, from what I've heard.

[He realizes, ironically, that some of what he just said fits him as well. He glances away from the camera, slightly frowning.]

I realize my presence will make it hard to tell which one of us is which, especially if he finds a way to cure his scars...so, if you choose to avoid me because of him, then I'll be fine with it. I understand. It might even be for the best, considering we look so similar.

[A saddened pause- Jacob does love people, so saying that they should avoid him hurts just a bit.] It's a sacrifice I'm willing to take if it means that you all will stay out of harm's way.

And please, don't try to think you're better than he is and try to act like you're the better one here. He is more powerful than you know.

[And he just gives a nod before switching on the filter.]

[Jacob's tone is as calm as ever as he speaks, his smile back again as if it never left.]

If it isn't a bother, after you've moved in, you wouldn't mind talking over a cup of tea in one of the districts?

Just to politely get to know each other, of course.

That won't happen, either. There are people here who can take care of him. Me being one of them, okay? So, just -- don't do anything conclusion-jumpish or shark-tank-divey. You shouldn't have to be alone in this anymore than anybody else. [ Can you tell that she has a lot of feels about this? Because she does. ]

That doesn't make it an okay thing! Isolatedness usually - y'know, usually... leads to... badness. And alienation and a lack of friends.

[But he doesn't sound it. Actually, he sounds pretty amused—Watching this little drama unfurl is an unexpected entertainment for him, and one that's very convenient. How nice, that there's another Devil, another of himself, to make this situation better turned toward his advantage.]

A warning against one Lucifer, but not the other? It sounds like I need to do better.

[He won't, of course, but that's because he has better things to do with his time. Like figure out how to set his bathroomate on fire.]

[Jacob just smile in reply to that, though his eyes are unreadable.]

I'm sorry if I did offend you in any way. But you don't look like me, so there's no trouble in anybody mistaking you for me and vice versa.

Besides, you haven't done anything as of yet to make me pass a bad judgment on you. I can't go against you for playing the piano well, can I?

I'm not offended. I've heard much worse about myself, and tend to take a rather vested interest out of curiosity.

[He smiles, slightly] And I understand why you would feel the need to clarify your role. I'm sure that Mr. Bowie would be a bit taken aback to discover that he might as well be a twin to the Devil as well.

[There's a pause as he considers which path to take this conversation, but settles for the less threatening of the two]

It's bad for my eventual business for those previously unaware to been more enlightened.

[ Lightning's been more or less idly following this little drama unfolding, and more or less content to just leave the participants be unless an actual sign of it starting to affect the other inhabitants of the city to a bigger degree makes itself known. However, with this message... wait. ]

What do you mean, "personification of evil" and "ruler of the souls of the dead?"

[ She looks... confused, perhaps a touch concerned, perhaps a touch... well, affronted. ]

You know what "God" means, do you?

[A cryptic smile.] Well, the Devil is, as they say, the opposite of God. Where God creates and loves his creations, the Devil destroys and hates the creations that God put on the Earth. He brought sins into the world, like greed and envy and lust, and wants to see people corrupted by their own flaws. Every corrupted soul who dies gets sent to his realm, which is known as the Underworld, or more simply, Hell. And there they are punished for all eternity.

...That is what the tales say about him, at least.

[ Alright, now she really does look annoyed, mouth open in what's apparently a silent sigh as her gaze trails away, off-camera for several long moments before finally snapping back. ]

Yes, I know what a god is. But what you're saying... doesn't make sense.

[ Lightning, be more understanding. These people's worlds and their gods =/= yours. ]

Ironically, I already have a twin back home. He looks nothing like me since we're fraternal.

[An amused smile, though Jacob is not exactly amused over this entire thing right now.]

But yes, I guess you could say that Lucifer, in this place, is "my evil twin".

[Lucifer matches that calm smile, although the offer to consume food and drink makes him anything but calm. He's never needed such things before. It is, however, pertinent that he gets to know his lookalike a bit better, at least to know if he is a threat or if their similarities can somehow be used.]

It would be a pleasure to politely get to know each other. Where would you suggest?

[Ah, good. He replied to his invitation. This is nice, considering that a) Lucifer meeting with Jacob will keep him away from Sam for the time being, and b) Jacob would get to know more about his body double. A win-win situation, really, though Jacob knew he had to tread carefully- this was, after all the Devil he was talking with here.]

I'm glad. [A nod.] There is a nice cafe out in Sigyn District, though I wouldn't complain if you preferred to stay in Hel District and have a chat there.

I do not want to begin to understand the ways of the gods, but if he's here, then he must serve a purpose.

Or, its to trap him in one place so he doesn't go against them. I don't know.

I never said he was evil. All I said is that based on stories, he is the personification of evil.

[They haven't talked, but now that Dean knows this guy's intentions and knows his willing to sacrifice his own comfort for the safety of others, Dean figures it's time for a chat. Doesn't mean he's gonna be completely serious about it, though.]

[An announcement of some sort had been expected from Lucifer's doppelganger after the archangel had arrived in Asgard, but what he actually says isn't.

There's a chance Jacob really is a benevolent figure as he claims, but then, he could be using Lucifer's presence to his advantage. His selfless attitude, however, is convincing at the moment.]

Gives a whole new meanin' to coincidence, don't it.

[Coincidence wasn't exactly something that Jacob was familiar with. For in his job, everything that had happened had been tied intricately with the web of human fates he had intertwined over the last hundred years. Everything had happened because of his influence. Yes, some things happened that even he would never see coming, but even then, it had resulted from a push he had made upon a person.]

Coincidence? [A cryptic sort of smile.] I don't know...I think that most things happen for a reason.
