2nd Note || Voice //Action for Freyr folks

[[It's been a rough couple of days, hasn't it Asgard? Capell thinks so anyways, what with the ice fairies, the fighting, the injuries.... definitely seems like it's a good time to take a short breather and relax, right?

Right.

That's a soft melody can be heard floating from your bracelet if you turn it on at the right time. Hopefully it'll soothe some of the tension people might be feeling. If not, at least it sounds nice?]]

[[And anyone hanging around Freyr's house will find Capell sitting just outside the house, flute to his lips. Once he finishes playing, feel free to let him know what you thought. Or tell him to quit the racket. Either one.]]

[ Rei's been putzing around the city, exploring the nooks and crannies and generally familiarizing himself with his new surroundings. His sensitive hearing is quick to latch onto the sound of the flute, and it lures him to where Capell is playing outside Freyr. He tries to keep himself relatively hidden so as to not be distracting, and he shows himself once the melody comes to its soft conclusion. ]

Hey, your music was really... beautiful. Thanks for that.

[Once he's finished playing, Capell lowers his instrument and looks up. He's not used to drawing an audience, but he's quite glad at least one person was listening.]

Ah, thank you. [No one's really ever said his songs were beautiful before.] I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Of course. I've never heard that melody, before. What is it?

It's a song that I wrote a while back, called Fleeing Dog Rhapsody. [Capell is AWFUL at naming things.]

[And Raimei will be one of the lucky few to hear a soft melody coming from her braclet, it sounded beautiful and soothing. Was he using a flute?]

Whoever is playing that instrument, just know you're awesome at it. What kind are you using to make that sound?

Really? Thank you. [There's a soft click and Capell begins to put the instrument back in it's case.] It's a flute, but it's kind of special.

[Too bad she can't see it, huh?]

Yes, really! I'm no music expert, but even I can notice you've got some serious talent. [And at the thought of the flute being special, she can't help grow curious.] How so? Is it magical or something?

Ah, it's nothing. I've just been playing the flute for as long as I can remember. And actually, this one is magical. It was a gift from a Claridian.

It shows.

[Then at the mention of magic and a word she didn't recognize, it all felt so fake, almost like a fantasy story, but when it came to Asgard she knew anything was possible.]

Wow! You must have one hell of a story to tell about your magical flute. What power does it have? It doesn't give you the power to be instantly talented, right? Because that would be cheating, you know~ [Sorry, she can't help tease a tiny bit. She's sure it didn't have that sort of power, or at least hopes it doesn't.] Also, what's a Claridian? Is it some kind of god or something?

No, I've only heard one. But I wanted to when I was younger.

The great thing about instruments is that it's never too late to learn!

[Ranka had been walking around outside Freyr to get some fresh air when she heard Capell. She smiles and goes over sitting down a little ways from him to listen, her elbows on her knees, and her chin in her hands. Letting her eyes fall shut, it was almost reminiscent of home. If he had been playing the harmonica instead she could have sworn it soothed her almost like her brothers playing.

Her own voice wasn't silent of course, and she hummed and little with him.]

[He always enjoys a bit of accompaniment, so he continues to play for a while longer with her humming along. Finally, when he finishes the song, he lowers the flute and looks over at her.]

Hello.

[She smiles and nods to him half waving as she stands up and approaches him. Sitting closer she looks to the flute in his hands. For some reason it brought back memories of happier times from when she was little. It wasn't all the time something like that happened.]

Hello. Your playing was wonderful.

[This loud guy clashes way too much with the soft melody, but he seems genuinely excited by it anyway and all but runs up to Capell.]

Unu! That's a pretty sound!

[Hey, we can always use the excitement! Capell jumps, the notes skipping as he looks to see who's decided to join him.]

[Don't mind the 6'1" lanky guy.]

I've never heard a song like that before!

Oh, well.... I wrote it. That's probably why.

[His expression shifts from excitement to calm fascination.]

You wrote it yourself? Nuuuu~n.... I don't know much about music.

[Akito has his bracelet turned on most of the time, and when the music suddenly starts to play, he instantly listens, appreciating the sound. He sings it softly to himself afterwards, pretty good at getting the notes right after one listen, before replying]

That was really pretty.

[He can always appreciate someone else with an ear for music.]

[ Shannon will just be walking around when she'll hear a very pretty sound. She'll walk over and watch the other play the flute. ]

That was a very nice sound. Quite soothing after what's happened lately...

[Capell lowers the flute and smiles at the newest person to arrive.]
