Hihi, ladies, gentlefolk, and loyal fans! It's time for Mami's second round of creature info! She might not know animals as well as Hibikin, but Mami is a complete faerie expert when it comes to strategy!

Ufufu...did you know, they're very hateful? Even though these faeries look young and playful, they don't want to be friends at all! Maybe if you're good at charming, you can try, though! Mami's seen that a lot of them move in numbers, but there are still solo agents that come in the night!

[By the way, there's a trio of faeries right behind Mami in the shot. She knows they're there, and for once, she's surprisingly well hidden and bundled up for this sort of thing.]

Ice creatures are obviously weak against fire! Odie's troops will be super useful here. They aren't very smart, either, even if they look like people. They move pretty slowly, too, and if you're inside, they don't try very hard to get in!

Cutie Librarian Strategist Mami is requesting back-up in the Lokin district! She repeats! That title is kinda long, though, so she won't say that part again. Requesting back-up in Lokin district! Ohimechin, Yakuza-san, please! Mami is cornered! Remember, [she starts, pulling out a heavy-looking wooden hammer from behind her. Seriously? That's her weapon? A wooden hammer?] unity is strength!

[The feed ends. For those who come to her aid, she's somehow attracted the attention of eight or nine of these damn faeries with her broadcasting. She's trying to keep them back by climbing up, but she's kind of cornered in an alley. Good luck, Mami!]

[That's probably a good plan, considering how close of a call this has been. She doesn't talk to Takane until all of the faeries are gone, whether it's through fleeing or becoming ice cubes.

And when it's all over, Mami still feels pretty bad about it.]

When you are thirsty, it becomes much too late to consider building a well.

No, we've got to try harder! This isn't...it doesn't even really hurt! It's like a buzzing of pain, not a real one.

[Well. That's only part of it. Mami is actually relieved she doesn't have to say everything, even if there's more.]

People are still counting on Mami's help. So she can't just leave them.

[ ... ah. After a thoughtful pause, her gaze softens, almost imperceptibly. ]

Mami... do you fully comprehend the responsibility that stems from reliance?

Mmm, Mami understands! Sometimes, you have to rely on others, because it's the right thing to do. Like making Producer-san carry your bags to a shoot!

[classifidol]

[ ... well, it's not like Miki hasn't done that, either. ]

Then to consider the matter from the vantage point of one who is relied upon... you must calm the desperate stirrings of your heart foremost. Your input is invaluable, but to utilize your services requires that the one in question must tend to herself in order to deliver promptly. Do you understand?

[She's shaking a little.]

Mami understands all of that, Ohimechin! She...she just can't give up! Not yet! Not until she's sure!

[ and to that, she doesn't say anything at first. It's perhaps unexpected for someone like Takane, but she reaches out to place her hands on the younger idol's shoulders. ]

What if our enemies get even stronger? What if Mami can't even save Ami?

[Odin's words are always bothering her. She's here, but Ami's home, and home might be destroyed. She has no Broducer to help her with that.]

Mami, you possess an admirable trait. It would seem you have not become aware of it.

It doesn't matter what trait is. It's my job as the older sister to make sure she's safe. A world without Ami is like being all alone.

[Yes, even with Takane, Chihaya, Iori, and Miki...without Ami, it's...]

While the enemies may increase their strength, adaptability and the drive to protect will not falter. You have already experienced tremendous growth.

Of course I'll see Ami again! And not just her. Nii-chan and Hibikin and Makochin and Harurun...everyone. But Mami knows that if she doesn't work her hardest, she won't. We all have to fight, right?

So Mami can't give up.
