[Here's Gau, standing dressed in an apron in a professional-looking kitchen. Everything around him is spotless, of course. He's grinning broadly, and holding himself very straight, as if proud of himself. In fact, the bracelet is obviously propped enough away from his body to show off the scenery on purpose.]

Hey, everyone! If I could just have your attention for a moment? I'll be opening a bakery of my own - known as Rainy Day Treats - very soon! I know a few of you stopped by Sigyn House not long ago when I had brought some things home, so you might know my baking style!

[He hadn't really planned it that way, but hey, if it worked, it worked.]

Anyway, I'll actually need to do some hiring before the doors open, so if you're looking for a job and can either bake, work a cash register, deal with customers, or wait tables, let me know? We're located in Sigyn District, but of course everyone is welcome.

((OOC note: Jobs are basically first-come, first-serve, unless your character is very rude to Gau or something, but the application is on his journal here. Feel free to just post the application there, respond here ICly, both, or just... heckle him or show support.))

[He's going to visit that bakery EVERY DAY. Even if he probably won't have money for anything... which he doesn't know about yet. Poor thing.]

[This is not a human face. He's seen a few non-humans around the network, and in other places, but it still surprises him when it happens.

He jumps, just a little, before blushing and responding.]

Oh! I'll have it ready to open in a few days, even if I don't get anyone wanting to work here right away? Next week or so, maybe?

[When you live your whole life as a talking reindeer you don't really mind any kind of reaction so he just keeps on talking excitedly.]

Great! I'll go everyday, since I live in Sigyn! I'm sure someone would want to work there since it's a bakery, and you'd be around sweets! I know someone that cooks but I don't know if he'd want to work there... maybe! I'll ask him. He'd probably say yes if there was at least a girl there. I wish I could work but I've never really had a job, but I bet it'd be really fun! Being around cakes and cookies all day... [Of course he doesn't want to work, he just wants to eat.]

Well, if you really want to work, you could come by and I could try to find something for you to do? I mean, I don't know what you're good at, but ... we could see?

[He waves a hand.]

And of course your friend who cooks could stop by, if they want! I want to give everyone a chance who is interested!

Well, I'm actually a doctor so I'd probably be more helpful with a medical-based job. ...but, I love sweets. Aah, it's so hard to pick! I-I'll see! But I'll let my friend know about the job too. He's the best cook I know and his baking is amazing too!

OH! Then your talents really would be wasted. But...

[He pauses, and then adds...]

You should come by sometime anyway. I'll even give you a free sample, on the house, if you come by after we open up shop.

Why not? It doesn't hurt to offer samples once in a while, you think?
