[As is usual for the young boy, he doesn't actually say anything when he shows up on screen.

He is, however, communicating in sign language (specifically ASL), which is probably going to mean nothing to anyone who can watch this. However, after each set of signs, there is a text translation provided!]

So I know there are a couple of people who wanted to learn sign language.

[A deep breath. Doing something like this is a little bit nervewracking, in front of who knows how many people, many of whom are way more awesome than he is.]

I'll try and teach everyone who wants to learn, since it's not really easy to learn by yourself.

It's not easy. It's not like just learning the signs for words or anything like that, but I'll do my best to make sure to make it as clear as possible, okay?

I know there's a war going on, but I know some people wanted to learn this, so...

[And now he's feeling just a little awkward about it. Isn't this kind of selfish, to ask about something like this? Shouldn't they be learning to fight, or learning to... well, do something that'd be more useful in a war?

Something like that, anyway. Oh well - it can't be taken back now, can it?]

If people asked to learn, you won't be wasting their time. You're helping them, that's very nice of you :)

Yes. People work best when they work as a team, and if someone cannot express their ideas, then that would be a waste.

I can express myself through text, though. It's just easier with signs, even if it's... harder for a lot of people, I guess.

[She lets out a small giggle, even if she does still think it's a bit of an exaggeration.]

You say this is sign language? Is it common from where you come from? It could be a useful trait to learn.

Words, usually. There's fingerspelling too, but that takes a lot longer. It's good when you don't know the word for something though.

It takes some work - it might be a little bit harder to understand you, but it's definitely doable! :)
