Uh oh...Gumi doesn't feel good...

[Nothing good that's for sure. The fire behind her wasn't too terribly big, but the heat was blazing enough to start overheating her systems. Normally her body can compensate for changes in environmental temperatures, but the urgency instead caused processes to start shutting down. Collapsed on the pavement, Gumi's eyes seem to have a hard time focusing on the screen. She had to get out of here before the damage got worse.]

Systems failing...Too much outside heat...Can someone come help Gumi please?

Oh my god.

It doesn't matter at all in Nakama's mind that this girl is apparently some kind of mechanical being - that glassy-eyed stare and terrible phrase keep ringing in her ears, and eventually she breaks away from the healers in the hospital to take to the streets again. Can she lift the girl? Will her shoulder take it? How heavy is she? She doesn't care. She's just not letting someone's systems fail. That sounds too much like die, and that is not something that'll be happening today.]

Hey, Gumi. [She crouches down in front of the girl, her expression firm but not unkind.] Are you strong enough to climb onto my back?

[Sight was getting fuzzy. Oh. So that's what was going next. That's fine, it'll just shut down and can be rebooted easily. But-]

[There was an outline. A person. Gumi could hear the girl's voice.]

Gumi can't move. Sorry.

[There's a loud grunt as Nakama lifts her up, the burn on her shoulder straining and almost cracking open, but then Gumi is cradled in her arms and she can just handle it. She's off at a run, but not sure where to go.]

Can you go in water? That'd cool you down, but... will it make you short out?

[You get a super-closeup of a very sooty Allen since he's just about ready to climb into the screen at this point -- his voice has a faint edge of panic to it, though he's trying his best to keep steady and coherent.]

[Gumi's vision was becoming static, it was going to shut down soon. But she knew that voice too well.]

Len. That's Len's voice. [Staring at the picture, come on focus Gumi.] Oh. Sorry Allen. Gumi can't see that well right now.

[She gives a weak smile. Good, expressions still work.]

[Luckily, whether it's luck or a favor from the 'gods' or something, Freyr is right there next to Freya and he's in the right area within moments at a headlong run.

He skids to a stop, now and again, looking around frantically and completely ignoring any falling debris or encroaching flames. There are small herds of faceless people moving in silhouette making the job harder.

It doesn't matter. He can't let-- There's no way he'll--

I'm here. Len, Allen, whatever you wish to call me, just... Gumi?

[So now there's this guy actually by your side looking fairly freaked out and attempting to shake the systems back into you. Shake shake shake.]

[as it so happens, Chie's in Freyr right now, in her rush of running amok to make sure the people she's close to are safe in the middle of all this commotion. even though she's got a mission in mind, she still rushes over when she sees the collapsed girl; just because she doesn't know the girl won't stop her from wanting to help.]
