[ spike hasn't made an appearance on the network or much of anywhere public since his return, but here he is. he's outside, wearing a sweater and gloves. it's gotten cold this past week or so. ]

Yeah, well... I know. [ he finishes awkwardly. it's better than saying 'you don't have to' even if that's what he really feels. he's used to being abandoned and if it means she makes it out alive he's good with it. not that he thinks hermione would, and maybe that's even scarier in the end. ]
