[Have a harried looking elementary school kid, Asgard. Conan looks severely put upon. His apron is too big and too pink. As if that wasn't enough, he's got a smudge of cupcake batter on one cheek and hasn't quite managed to get all the flour off his shirt.]

Okay. For anyone confused, Cupcakes. A small cake, usually topped with icing and decorated with any manner of confectionary. In other words, it's a dessert.

First you make the cake part. Second you wait for it to cool and make the icing. Finally, you decorate. Since this is a competition, I probably shouldn't get into too much detail, but there's a couple of things that I think people need to know.

Namely, things that do not usually go in cupcakes -- things like vegetables, animal fat, arsenic. Everyone got that? Good.

ETA: Laundry powder is not for cooking with. In fact, if it's not already in the kitchen, don't put it in your food. And if it is in the kitchen, but you don't recognise it? Ask a responsible housemate.

((ooc: Hel housemates, the arsenic reference is not aimed at anyone in particular (unless you want it to be). I just figured that Hel's kitchen has to have a few suspect bottles floating around and Conan's got to have something to bitch about. So yes, please ignore Conan and merrily poison as many cupcakes as your hearts desire~!

It at least wasn't me, nor my suitemate-- ah, that would be Shiki, Shiki Ryougi. I can't say I know that much other people in Hel.. maybe Kaz? Wouldn't put it past him.

[Not Shiki -- and she's definite? Conan raised an eyebrow, but jotted that down on his notebook. I guess it doesn't fit Shiki's usual modus operandi. Kaz?

Kaz-san ... I'm not so sure. He's obnoxious, yes, but I'm pretty sure he vents his frustrations in immediate words and actions. The usual profile of a poisoner is someone more ... subtle.

Oh, there's this whole usual profile thing? [ it's hard to tell whether she's actually interested or not, but hey, she's listening. ]

I don't know, that kid has so much rage to take out I wouldn't be surprised if he poured some into his cupcakes. ... If he even made any, I didn't really pay attention to him since I was busy with Shiki once I got there.

Ah. It's not a perfect science -- like anything else it can be exploited by a clever criminal. But while Kaz is childish and petty, I'm not sure I'd give him the credit for something with this level of forethought. Venom-san takes too much delight in talking about hunting people so I'd put him out too ...

On the other hand, there's Vanitas-san. You met him?

I don't think so, although I might have.. I didn't get the names of all the people I talked to, introductions are too bothersome.

He definitely wouldn't introduce himself. He's the guy who made the post pretending to help Kaz-san.

It's true that we have quite a few.. special people in there. I wonder if the same counts for the other houses or if we're just the house of weirdos.

There's a few colourful characters around. Addam-san's husband is in Freya.

That's the one. Not subtle but Vanitas knows that there's more than one way to accomplish a goal.

I think Amakusa is enough of a 'colourful character' by himself and he's in Baldr. So yeah, I guess it's spread a little, but we seem to have the biggest concentration of idiots in our house.

Do you think he did it? I don't know, he seemed just like a troublemaker like Kaz is.

Amakusa-san -- your bodyguard, right? I haven't seen him for a while.

I don't think he did. I think he's likelier than Kaz -- but there's more people in our house to consider than the names we've mentioned so far. Pretty much everyone in Hel has had the opportunity to access that bottle unseen.

That guy comes and goes as he pleases, but believe me, he's still around. He just only replies to stuff he deems interesting, and that's often just lame stuff.

So what, you're going to round up all the Hel residents to see who's the most suspicious? I'm fairly surprised you already trust me, in that case.

Huh. I guess that'd be why I haven't seen him!

To be honest, I'm not sure the rest of Hel would let me round them up for something that could happen rather than has happened. And even if we did have a murder case on our hands ... I'm not sure all of them would care.

Yeah, you'll have to pay real good attention to spot him. He's like some kind of near-extinct animal. [ deadpan tone. ]

I'm pretty sure there could be a mountain of corpses right up in the Hel welcome hall and everyone would only complain about the inconvenience of having to walk around it. That's just the kind of people we have around here.

Ha ...

I hate to say it, but I think Ange-neesan's deduction is spot on.

At least you can't say I'm bad at prediciting the way our fellow Hel residents will react, huh.

I only hope we don't see Ange-neechan's suspicions confirmed.

Let's just hope that nobody randomly decides to go on a murder spree then, huh?
