[The feed opens on Bucky, who looks pretty well for someone who's been grey for two days, and anyone who lives in or visits Freya's Welcome Hall pretty regularly will recognize his surroundings as one of the rooms there--it's neat enough, that much is obvious from the way the bed's tucked in with hospital corners, if a little less lived-in than others.

Yeah, so, lesson learned, I guess: don't take off the fancy bracelet when you're outside, unless you like having a hole in your memory once you get it back. [A little huff, and he runs a hand through his hair.] I kinda doubt I missed anything while I was grey, but I dunno, did I?

[Moving on, he stands up.]

That being said, I'm getting a little sick of not having anything to do but walk around the city. Anyone out there looking to hire someone? I'm up for it--I can do heavy lifting, customer service, even give lessons, if you wanna learn how to shoot a gun. [A breath, and the light look on his face quickly turns serious.] And seeing as we're in the middle of a war, I get the feeling a lot of you are going to need to. Least so you can keep yourself safe if anything bad happen.

[And with that cheery note, he walks over to the table where he's set his bracelet down, and turns the video feed off.]

Great. Though, I didn't hear about a school when I got here. This a recent development or is that just me?

It's just you. The school opened some time ago.

That said, I'm sure Professor Snape would be happy to accommodate any lessons you might want to teach.

Oh, good. I just hope he's got a firing range and plenty of earmuffs. Or a gym--I'd feel better in a war with a weapon in my hand, honestly, but I can throw a mean punch if I have to. And I'm willing to teach people how to do the same.

I can't promise a proper firing range, but I'm sure there must be one somewhere in the city. We've definitely got the facilities for punching, though.

So where's this school?

It's located in Odin. Professor Severus Snape serves as headmaster and Miss Fiona Gallagher is the school secretary. Either of them would be able to help you get settled in.

Thanks for the help, ma'am. I appreciate it. [And he really, sincerely means it.] Do you know how much a job there pays, or am I going to have to ask either Snape or Gallagher about that?

I think it's a matter best discussed with them, yes. [Talking about money in public; how distasteful.] I'm sure it should be more than adequate.

So you work there?

Yes. I teach Latin, ancient Greek, Egyptian, and Egyptian history.

That's impressive. I picked up some French and German, but they're mostly curses. [Jones would've liked her, and maybe he smiles softly, nostalgically at the screen for a moment at the thought.]

So what's it like, teaching there?

If it's any consolation, I'm useless at punching--and the last time I shot a gun, I ended up flat on my back. [In her defense, it was an elephant gun. Oops.]

The school is well run, considering how often people come and go here. Most of my students have been beginners, but you might have better luck with more advanced students in your subject.

I could teach you. Promise, that's all I'm gonna do. [See? No flirting! Kind of.]

Honestly I only ever taught to one guy before, and he was skinny as a stick at the time, but he really wanted to be in the Army. Wouldn't be too opposed to getting both beginners and advanced students, as long as they're willing.
