[When Ikaruga appears on the screen, she actually looks sincerely happy about something. It's not smugness or mild amusement, as she's normally inclined. No, she actually looks genuinely pleased about whatever she's about to announce.]

I am pleased to announce the upcoming opening of the New Moon school of arts. The classes offered will include literacy, poetry, music, dance, calligraphy, painting and drawing, theatre, swordsmanship, practical economics and business management.

[If it's occurred to her that swordsmanship, practical economics and business management don't really match the rest of the school's curriculum, she gives no indication.]

Students of all ages are welcome. I am also hiring for teachers. Each class will be offered at a beginner, intermediate and advanced level.

[There's a short pause as she decides to put one other offer out there.]

Should anyone be looking for someone to practice the art of the sword with rather than lessons, I am available for that as well.

Well, it's one way to pass the time. And since emotions are supposedly the key to world salvation, a school for the arts is one way to contribute, yes?

More or less. Of course, if everyone's powers were compatible with this land, escape would be much easier. My magic gave me the ability to cut through everything...including dimensional divides.

That sounds pretty damn awesome. But... I guess it wouldn't make sense if the Gods gave us magic to escape, huh?

.... But, you know... I'm not sure if I agree too much with sitting and waiting. .... Sometimes, the last thing you wanna do is wait.

There is always information gathering. It's not as if anyone knows how it would even be possible for us to get back, yet.

More or less. It seems that the gods were truthful about powers from other worlds being incompatible with the magic of this one, though.

... Yeah. That's true, isn't it? My magic is no good here. I don't get how any of that stuff works here at all.

From what I heard, the gods gave original powers back to a few people and the incompatibility was fatal. The people in question were fortunate that the gods were able to revive them.

... Seriously? Wonder if it's the Gods fault to begin with... Either way.... Heh, I'd think I'd still like to try regaining my powers, even with a result like that.

I suppose if I had my powers and cut through the dimensional divide, I might be able to escape to a place where they were more compatible.

... Would you ask to get your powers back, even knowing what the cost was? Sorry, but I wouldn't let you do that.

One does not become the head of a mage guild by being overly cautious. I prefer to think of it as taking a calculated risk.
