[ the feed starts off with a flash of the ceiling! and then it jerks suddenly, to a glint of a yellow, crescent-shaped object on top of someone's head... and then jerks some more, until the view settles onto the face of a rather bored looking man with an eyepatch and helmet. he raises a hand. ]

Yo. If you see some ice guy around... Tell him the One-eyed Dragon, Date Masamune's, on the look-out for him. All ri-- [ wait, that's wrong. he cuts off and after a pause repeats, in english: ] All right?

Never seen anything like him before. He was a cool-- [ . . . damnit. trying that again. engrish, go: ] cool kind of guy.

You know, you're reminding me of someone with all that [ engrish is go ] 'cool' kind of talk. And before you ask, no, it isn't a good thing.

Yeah, my bodyguard is exactly the same. So is my older brother. I don't know why, but I tend to meet a lot of guys who do it for some reason.

Must mean there's something good about it. [ not that the prospect of everybody picking up engrish is totally cool to him or anything. ] Guess it's just interesting.

There's nothing really interesting about it. I guess it just makes them feel like they're [ switching to engrish again ] cool or something like that.
