As things are proceeding smoothly, this seems as good a time as any. How unfortunate that I wouldn't be able to open sooner, with all of the fuss about the Ides. Ah, well.
[The shrug is evident in his voice, clear that he doesn't actually care at all, so he continues without much of a pause] In roughly two to three weeks time, I will be opening a bar and lounge, called Lux. It will be a more pleasant alternative to Sky's Prize, which is entirelly too Norse for my tastes. Besides offering a wider variety of drinks, it will also offer live entertainment nightly. Naturally, this means that I'm seeking employees.
[And the feed switches to text]
I will also accept inquiries and questions, as well as suggestions for the kind of fare that should be served. I'll admit that my tastes in this area run a bit on the lavish side, so I'd like to adjust to my clientele appropriately.
[There's a cool, easy smile in his voice] Thank you for your time. I look forward to reviewing your applications and seeing your auditions.
private text; to Johan Liebert
((ooc: Basically, you can respond to this post with questions about Lux, or if a character fills out an application, he'll interview them/have them audition. If you have any questions, let me know! If your character applies for either, please fill out an OOC application! The regular employee's is here and the entertainment's is here. This is just the IC equivalent, but I need the OOC one to keep track.))

I have an additional position to offer you, if you would be so interested. I have a managerial position that I need filled, and you are the only one I have met that I would deem competent for the responsibility. We can discuss the matter further, of course.

Previous Jobs Held : Bounty hunter back home, working at an apothecary here.
Describe your performance : Really amazing singing!
When would be the best time for an audition?: I already auditioned, so fuck that!
Please provide two references: You, obviously. Kaz is in Hel House in room 205, but you don't need to talk to him since you already know how good I am.
voice;
So, he'll just give a call out of curiosity.]
You do realize that this is a rather self-congratulatory application, don't you? I would hope that this wouldn't be your usual tone for an application.
That said, you're already hired. I don't have an opening date quite yet, but would you willing to perform on opening night?
voice;
Hey, what's wrong with being confident? No one's going to want to hire a spineless coward.
Sure! I think I'll be ready that soon if I keep practicing daily.

[He continues without a beat, though with a note of light interest or surprise. It's hard to tell which.] I'm surprised to hear that you were a bounty hunter. You don't quite fit the stereotype.
no subject
Why's that? I'm really good at it, you know.

Position Desired: Security or Bartender
Previous Jobs Held: Air Pirate
What qualifies you for this position?: I've run a fleet of pirate vessels for several years now, and have helped stop world-level threats more than once. I think that makes me ready for just about anything.
Please provide two references: What? I haven't been here long enough for that.

Ah, also--are you going to keep first aid on hand and train your staff in it?
no subject
I had not planned to, other than keeping perhaps a first aid box somewhere on the premises. Call it equal parts wishful thinking and disinterest.

I'd be very interested in this position.

[But, you're right, he doesn't care]
In any case, the position is yours. The responsibilities entail all of those that you would normally expect of a managerial position, though they're fairly simplified due to the size of the city. And of course, considering the ever unpredictable nature of the gods who reign in this Asgard, should I ever leave or otherwise be incapable of running Lux, it will be yours. I've already put much more stock into it than as a bar, but those will reveal themselves in time, if at all.
[Of course it's more than a bar. What else would you expect from Lucifer? The construction of the Lux took place under his watchful eye, and he was much more cautious with this one than its twin in Los Angeles. Should the gods' power ever falter, there's plenty of dormant power in that building just waiting to be awakened.]
Welcome to Lux's staff, Johan. Hoc opus, hic labor est, as the saying would go.
