Oh I'm on, right. Hello. Gwen here. Erm. [She pauses, as if to edit her words before speaking] So I got the letter and the lovely little bracelet thing, and the faceless lass has been so very helpful. [Too soon for sarcasm? Never]

[She pauses again and now the irritation she's been feeling is etching it's way across her face]

I have got a few questions, like oh, I don't know. Who the bloody hell signed me up for this rubbish? Jack! If this has anything to do with you or that place I am going to murder you with my own two hands.

I don't think this has anything t'do with the rift, though. But whatever this place is, it pulls people from different places in their timelines. I'm... further along, I guess. We met, briefly, in two thousand nine. Will meet- s'a a bit complicated.

Oh, they're all here. Jack and Ianto were here a few weeks before Owen and I arrived - we came on the same day. [She pauses for a moment; Gwen seems entirely too calm about seeing her to be from her own timeline.] What happened just before you came here, Gwen?

Well no, good point. [Gwen casually running her fingers back through her hair, all very at ease given the circumstances]

I know I probably shouldn't be happy about it but I'm sort of glad we're all here. [She felt a little guilty, but not enough to be really sorry] I mean to try and work this out on our own...

[Her eyes narrow at Tosh's question, not completely getting her reason for asking]

Jack went missing. [As if that should have been obvious] You were there. Jack and I were talking in his office one minute the next he was just gone. [She paused, preferring not to bring this up] After... well, you know.

It seems like this place takes us from different points in our timelines. You're...a fair bit earlier than the rest of us. Owen and I are from about the same time, and Jack and Ianto are ahead of us, as far as I know.

Tosh can freeze things, apparently, and Jack, Ianto, and I've all got the same 'damage drain' thing. Basically, we can take other people's injuries onto ourselves. I haven't exactly had a chance to try it out.

[She knew that look and she didn't like that look. It meant that pretty soon the fun would be over and she actually had to deal with what was really going on]
