two [action] during the scavenger hunt
[After the challenge of the scavenger hunt was made, Freyjadour decided it would be a good idea to head to the library to try and figure out what the gods were hinting at. It seemed like meeting the God's challenges would benefit the people of their houses, so even if the tasks posed were a bit strange, Freyjadour figured it was probably worthwhile to participate in the long run.
So early that morning after the challenge had been made, he tells a few of the people he runs into on the way out his destination and then heads to the great library in Odin's district, seeking out some sort of lead. Perhaps there was information about the gods of Asgard somewhere among these shelves.... and maybe answers to their riddles. He'll be paging through various books on lore of different worlds for a good portion of the day, not really knowing where to start but determined nonetheless.
Although he can't help but at some point looking to see if there were books from his world as well. Falena did have a long history, afterall.]

He did not expect to run into the man from the New Year's party there. Or that by the looks of things, he was actually trying to solve the riddles the 'gods' had left behind for them. It almost makes him roll his eyes.]

If you're looking to solve those riddles, some of those won't help you.

Thank you. Are these from your world?

The last competition- houses gained rewards for participation. Even if it is something as silly as a game, if it can potentially benefit the people here or provide them comforts from home then why not humor these 'gods'?
[Not that he.... actually used his house's reward. But the fact remained that people benefited from it.]

It costs me nothing to look up a bit of information, and it might benefit us in the future in other ways, too.

He had always, always assumed if the gods were pleased they would be returned home.]

From there he navigates quickly to find the message of which he spoke, adjusting it so that Frey could listen and read it if he wished. It was best to tell it to him directly from the source than to risk misunderstandings.]

The worry for the situation grew as he did so. He had, of course, read the letter they had been given upon arrival, and knew their own worlds were at risk-
He didn't realize it was something the people back home could not fight back against. To.... reset a world? Just like that?]
2/3 i lied
It was hard to grasp but Freyjadour knew this was going to be a battle of incredible difficult indeed.
Still......]

If we win, our worlds will be safe and we can go home.
[He wasn't going to give up. In the end it changed nothing of what they had to do.... It did, however, raise the stakes to unimaginable heights.
He probably wasn't absorbing it properly, but he knew enough to know his actions wouldn't change.]

It was at the same time sickening... and comforting, for Eyes is one himself. Except with he, the harshness of reality has forced him to push that part of himself deep inside alongside his emotions, under strict lock and key. Not even to emerge when he was alone on all those sleepless nights.
Either this boy was truly that delusional, or he didn't understand the gravity of the situation just yet. Denial, plain and simple. Perhaps his method of coping.
It didn't really matter.] The play their games all you like.

Such determination got him through so far in life. Indeed, he had been given no other choice but to choose that path or run away.... which had never been an option. There were people depending on him to be there and help change things. A 'leader'.
It wasn't something he particularly believed himself worthy of- he was a prince, after all.... but it was what needed to be done and it would be done.
The same belief applied here.]
You've given up already?

Kanone would have been for nothing, and Kanone would not be able to return with him. All this realm had done thus far was force him to deal with the return of his brother when the pain of losing him was still raw.
He refused to be a chess piece anymore, it was as simple as that.]
