Uh, no. Haven't seen him and could you please stop doing that? [mutter mutter] Are you some sort of vampire or something? They'll put you back together if you die here either way, but kind of handy to know this first.

This [She made a motion at her own chest and grunted, looking away.] The thing you're doing with your shirt. Cut it out. I've had enough random show and tell on this network to last me two lifetimes.

[She paused, caught the rest of the explanation and just stared at her.]

You're a corpse. Great. I guess this Shinobu can scratch necrophilia off the list of things they never thought they'd try. [She sighed.] They will rebuild your body and you'll be alive again. Do it too often and it won't work properly. [Her scratchy voice and slightly bad right eye being testaments to that.]

So sensitive~! A woman should make use of her assets. [ Tokage n o ] I barely even showed anything. And Shinobu is far too innocent for that sort of thing. [ he laughs, waving his hand ]

Anyway! So we don't remain dead, right? They just like to make everything worse. [ Tokage groans tilting his head back as he thinks for a moment ] "Work properly", what do you mean?

[mutter mutter] You showed enough. [Mutter mutter.] I prefer not to do that as a rule. It tends to end poorly when it happens around me. [ahem]

And yes, it's nice and twisted and honestly I'm not a huge fan of coming back to life around here, but at least they're not torturing us in the process. As for the rest, my pack a day smoker's voice isn't my normal voice. It got damaged after I'd died too many times. Won't work right anymore.

You get better. Basically, you're healed and brought back to life again. Usually. Uhm, as for that boy you're looking for, the name doesn't ring a bell, sorry.

And trust me. I remember when I was like that. No, they don't let you stay dead.

No. If you're still alive you'll just have one less arm. But if die after your arm's cut off, you're brought back whole.

Eat me? A corpse? It'd taste pretty bad, no? [ he smirks ] You aren't the first to threaten me with that, though. And I'm still here. [ of course he is. Tokage is cursed with immortality, after all. ]

And now that's just bullshit! [ look at him acting so mature. aka he is pouting ] Why make this body alive and keep bringing it back to life? Specially if it stops working right after a while?

What's the point of that? Why not just regrow limbs and heal all wounds instead of resurrecting people like that?

Don't die and it'll work just fine. [Still deadpan. Samantha would have been horrible on the welcoming committee and she knew it.] It is blasphemous though. Death should be permanent, or otherwise we don't value our own lives and the time we have.

As for how you taste, I've already got enough on my plate. I'd rather not think about that, though I doubt we're talking about the same thing exactly.

[She shrugs.]

I don't know about you, but I wouldn't want to die over a lost hand or scraped knee. Besides, I don't know if they'll bring us back unlimited times. Maybe just twice, or five times, or ten.

Who knows, I have heard about so many things that I lost count.

I really wouldn't know. There are people who have healing for a power though, and I don't think the gods have enough time and attention to spare to fix everything, all day long. Granted, even the best of them can't regrow a missing limb.

wait, seriously, they can't regrow a limb? [ mocking tone because Tokage ttly could, before he arrived here ] What can they do, heal paper cuts?

They could probably put a severed limb back on if it's not too late, depending. [fire up the sarcasm engine we're ready to go.]

I mean, mending broken bones and life-threatening injuries probably wouldn't be enough to impress you.

And they gave me back a power that's almost exactly the same, so ... my body works a little like it used to. Most of it's still different, but I can still feed to an extent. Most of the rest, though, isn't working right.
