[There are many things to consider as Gevanni contemplates his options. He’s taken his time to analyze the network and by now he has some understanding of the situation that he’s in. Many elements need to be taken into consideration and the young agent isn’t about to leave any small openings behind.

The one thing that bothers him if how his real name keeps being used as he tries to access the network.

This is starting to turn out to be a very peculiar experience.

Your attitude is refreshingly appropriate for the situation.

You still have two stupid ideas, though: that anyone knows what the hell is actually going on yet, and that you're gonna go home back to your job worrying about how many vacation days you took. Can't win them all, can we.

Oniisan gets to the point. [It's pretty refreshing to here the situation summed up with a annoyance that Shinichi definitely feels, even if, as Conan, he can't own up to it.]

As far as useful information goes -- it's not much, but everything I've learned from interviewing the city residents or observing our surroundings seems to confirm the letter. No one has said anything that contradicts it, the grey extends to living plants and colour has started to return to the areas of the city most populated by us new arrivals. There's only a few points that stand out as strange.

It doesn't hurt to ask even if you have your doubts. I suppose some will settle and accept the situation. It can be lack of ideas or no real motivation that stops them from achieving something.

So I suppose it's true that you can't win them all but it's kind of very sad to forfeit a game even before looking at at least one card in your hand.

Well, there's the guards on the gates. It's only natural to keep us in -- we didn't choose to come here, and we're not that happy about it! But getting out of the city won't do us much good if we don't have the means to get back to our own world ... and the guards aren't evenly distributed. There's way more at the North gate than any of the other two, and one is hardly guarded at all ... kind of seems to me like there's something outside they're worrying about.

Then there's us. It doesn't look like it's a random cross section of people brought here, I think.
