Why can't he be given a toy car or something. That would be better than a reminder of an attempted attack on Jesse's life. ]

Something from home that I never earned, but wanted. It wasn't their right to give it to me, even if the people that gave it weren't worthy of respect. It's just a piece of clothing, but it was important.

[She would probably believe it -- Castiel has apparently done a lot of horrible things before she met him. It's difficult to believe that the sweet and kind person she's come to love is so different to everyone else, but that's just the way the cookie crumbles.]
