You are treated to one [1] Effie Trinket, sitting on her bed in the Freyr welcome hall. She has snow dusting the sleeves of her extraordinarily hideous Christmas sweater dress that seems to be lighting up in odd colors.

She does not look amused. In fact, Effie looks like she needs to have a glass of wine in hand. And, offscreen, she probably does.]

I do hope everyone is enjoying the spontaneous blizzard this world has set upon us. Going from jungle temperatures to blistering cold -- I would have thought only a Gamemaker would be capable of such a thing at the push of a button, but everyone could stand to be proven wrong every now and again.

[The good Escort sighs, heavily, before she indeed raises a glass of wine to her lips -- but Effie pauses and manages to summon a smile.

She is still ignoring the sweater, and the first person to mention it will get a tongue lashing so fierce that only Katniss Everdeen has experienced one similar.]

That being said, is there a reputable designer in this city? Or even a moderately reputable one. I'm afraid the only thing my power is "good for" is pulling sets of earrings out of a piece of paper.

The weather's being weird here, huh?

I'm not a designer, but 00 has a lot of costumes and I remember how they look. If you like some of them maybe if I can find someone to help me they can make one for you, too.

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if the temperatures in Asgard weren't vastly different from any norms we're used to in our own worlds. I've only been here a month and it hasn't been that bad but...at least you've got a sweater on?

I believe the heatwave was the outlier. Due to a nearby mountain exploding. It is meant to be winter here.

-- well, at home, I have a personal designer -- and I design a lot of my own clothes, of course, but I was having this beautiful dress made out of butterflies -- orange, something warm and festive for the harvest season, with matching shoes.

This is hideous and made out of a material I can't identify.

[She plucks at a loose thread on her sleeve, methodically, as if she's been trying to get rid of it for awhile now.]

I would never wear this out in public but given the temperature and how every article of warm clothing around this place seems to have been transformed via magic trick, I have little choice.

Alas, no. Not that I am much of a- what is the word, a clothes horse, myself, but I do long for home with its bright colors and sumptuous silks! This place is all so, so drab, you see.
