[The video comes on, and there’s Naruto - right up in front of the screen. It’s been a while, Asgard - so it’s no wonder that he looks incredibly different from the last time he intentionally made a video to share with everyone.
Today, he has a very specific purpose.]
Hey! Er, I’m here-- and so’s Naminé.
[Just in case you don’t believe him, he turns his bracelet, which is pretty tricky considering the fact that his arm really shouldn’t bend that way.]
[Naminé is, in fact, there! She’s also looking quite amused in his general direction, but upon her introduction raises a hand to wave, focus shifting to the camera.]
Ain’t gonna say anythin'?
[She jumps slightly, shoulders rising - then,]
Hello, everyone…! There, I said something.
[Aren’t you proud?]
[Well. It’ll do.]
Anyway, we’re gonna tell you all about this awesome place we got food today, yeah? It’s called er-- Wait a second.
Where are we again?
[Blink. Naruto, really? But she smiles all the same.]
The Highwind. Remember?
[... Why are you telling him and not the audience, Naminé?]
Yeah yeah, that’s right, the Highwind. We ate a bunch of cupcakes, and we had some of this-- orangey tea stuff it was really good. I reckon-- it’s pretty close to being as good as ramen, right?
Well… I mean, it’s not as good as ramen but-- it’s good. Really good. So, everyone should come here.
[Only, now he’s staring at the video, and then quite obviously at Naminé.]
[This time, she’s much more prepared - she glances over at him to make sure, then turns her smile on the camera.]
Mmhm! It was very nice. So-- it’s worth a try, whether you like ramen or not.
[His hand drops to the table, and you might only know that because suddenly the video is focused on the ceiling.]
You think that was okay?
Of course. You were very complimentary-- oh. Naruto, I think it’s still on.
