[This is not the first time he's woken up in a strange place.

He's starting to thing that someone out there is just toying with him at this point, but at last last time he wasn't really missing anything. This time, the timing was downright awful, and he's angry and worried as well as disoriented.

Still, he's doing his best to look friendly and smile when he turns his video on from his room.]

Hey, everyone. Looks like this is new to all of us, huh? Does anyone use this network that isn't from another world? It seems kind of weird to set something up just for us.

Also, has anyone here heard of "heaven's net"?

I wonder what kind of "fate" they have here...

Oh, yeah -- I'm Tokidoki. It's nice to meet you all, I guess.

Eh-- Kon!

[Sorry for the lack of respect, man -- he's gotten used to you not knowing who the fuck he is. He's ALSO gotten used to you acting like he's a bothersome freak, though.

And, well, the last time he saw you, you were jumping in front of him to protect him.]

You're here too? Are you okay?!

[Well that's confusing. He raises an eyebrow. Not that he cares -- he's been calling Toki Toki almost since day one.]

Since when do you call me Kon? Are you okay?

[A pause. Oh. Could it be...?]

Wait, what else did you want me to call you?

I don't really care, but you've always called me Shinonome. [He gives you a measuring look, thinking.] Toki, what's the last thing you remember before coming here?

I...

We were at the shrine. The Yakou was there, and a giant snake, only it was just his corpse. Everyone was fighting, and you--

[Oh no, he's getting Emotional already.]

You were protecting me.

But it's not-- you forgot everything. When we came back from Edo, everything was different. I keep telling you that, but you don't believe me. But then you helped me anyway, even though you forgot me, and I don't understand why...

[Kon can hear his voice starting to fray. He doesn't remember any of that. They must have...]

Hey, calm down. It's okay. The last thing I remember is you and Kuchiha going to Nihonbashi. I stayed behind... [He thinks for half a beat more.] Time must flow differently here. More time's passed for you than for me.

Where are you?

Uh-- In my room, I guess. I'll come to you, okay?

[He can't not rush, y'know. He's already getting his ass out the door, because this is too messed up. It's either wonderful or horrible, but either way it's a lot to handle.]

Where should I go?

In the library. It's in the Odin district -- [Toki's not the kind of guy Kon would generally trust with directions...] I can come to you.

Meet me halway? I can find the castle again...

Yeah. [He's gathered his things and is making for the door.] Where are you coming from? [Kon has already familiarized himself with the basic layout of the place. Information was valuable, and he didn't foresee any kindly old women intervening this time.]

The green one -- uhm, Sigyn?

[Toki's got a map, ok. He can figure out "take the big street to the circle in the middle" well enough.]

Alright, it's a race. [Not that he was really planning on running, but he'd hurry.]

You're on.

[And Toki hangs up because he is going to run, and he'll be a bit winded when he gets there. He's a bit farther away from the plaza than Kon, though, so even though he's rushing he'll probably get there later.

He also won't stop until he's barreled right into Kon with the biggest bear hug he can manage.]

[It's a good thing Kon is such a sturdy guy -- if Toki had managed to actually bowl him over, well, he'd have to be thankful he was wearing his fancy underwear. Thankfully indecency is averted, as all Toki manages to do is knock the wind out of him.

He laughs breathlessly and awkwardly pats Toki's head.]

Hey, you haven't even bought me dinner yet. You're cute and all but there're rules.

Shut up, asshole.

[Of course, he isn't letting go. The last thing he remembers is the surge of chilling fear that hit him as the weapons came flying and Kon got in the way. He's so, so happy to see him -- and so, so happy that he remembers.]

I was worried about you, okay?

[Kon doesn't really mind. He's generally more comfortable with kicking somebody in the head than hugging them (he and Kuchiha are really on the same level aren't they), but Toki seems pretty upset, and Kon'll let it be for a few more minutes before prying him off.]

Well you're stupid. I'm fine. Or I was, anyway. [Good thing he can't feel anything in that arm, huh.] You're the one that needs to be worried over. [Not that he's admitting anything. ... He flicks Toki's forehead.]

I mean at home. You forgot about me and then you used yourself to shield me-- so you're the one who's stupid!

[And he's retaliating physically by headbutting Kon. Hard.

Only he's not really strong enough for that so he's kind of dazed himself, too.]

[You asshole! Clearly you've been hanging out with Kuchiha TOO MUCH. He grabs Toki's ear and pulls it.]

Just how stupid are you? You must have done something really dumb. [AND HE CONTINUES TO PULL AT TOKI'S EAR.] We're both here and we're both fine, so stop worrying about it.

[OWOWOW YOU DICK]

Yeah, but-- Isn't it weird to just be in another world again all of a sudden? And my eye is still messed up!

[And then Kuchiha happens so I'll be going down to that thread.]
