For the sake of humoring me, I wonder if anyone can answer a few questions. Although if they aren't answered, I suppose that is fine and good. This would not be the first time I have found myself in a situation dripping of irony with the luck I have.

So I am not the only one who can... well. Shadows. Wolves? Is there some sort of symbolism behind that? How is it that my "house mates" and myself are able to do such a thing when Hel has left Asgard with the others?

[Alice looks a little irritated, pulling out her trademark vorpal blade, running her fingers over it.]

Why weren't we able to have these... abilities magnified in battle? I am not particularly flattered when any type of enemy gets too close and a blade like this can only do so much.

And my ability to care can only go so far.

It's the gods are idiots, of course! If they were smart, they would've let people just keep their powers from back home in this place. Then the battles would be nothing.

[ Not that Asahi has particularly strong powers, but she sure knows people who do. ]

Why would it be too useful? I thought they wanted us to help them and to succeed.

I only tried it once prior before Freyr returned. Some of us are able to use shadows, as in, control them. But now it seems the shadows take the form of wolves and can go at a longer distance and we don't have to solely rely on light.

Yes. It wasn't like this before. Beforehand, I was able to make my shadow do other things rather than follow me.

I would dare not venture to say it would be either, more like it would depend on what an individual choose to do with this news. To tread with caution.

Ah. To my knowledge, no, not in the sense that wolves belong to Hel or cats belong to Freya. Perhaps in the original myths, but not with the houses of Asgard.

I can't say I know much on the matter of these so-called abilities we're supposed to have been granted, but a blade like that should certainly manage to do something.
