[ So there is one (1) strawberry blonde girl who looks rather casually lounged out. Looks it, at least. She's still uncomfortable about being there, and her room is nothing compared to being at home, and it's all a little creepy, so there's nothing quite so comfortable about Lydia - minus her front. It's a good poker face

She leaves the video hanging for a moment before she speaks, carefully choosing her words, and perhaps adjusting her already perfect hair a little ]

You know, if I'd been invited this might have been a nice vacation. Might have. [ Her friends might be here but arriving without them, and rather confused, was not her idea of nice. Or ideal ] I suppose it could feel like Europe.

Though as much as I'd like to deny all of this [ and believe her, she's tried ] apparently I can't. [ Although she might still try... or just ignore what she can ] Sadly. This is not how I was hoping this year would go.

So. Kidnapping Gods and wild stories aside... I need to shop. We need to shop. [ Allison, that was your invitation. And yes, she's not even been here 24 hours and she already needs to shop. Coping at its finest ] And see somewhere a little more... tasteful. [ Or pretty and sparkly. She doesn't quite want to explore but she would like to know her way around ]

Please tell me there's more than the lame tourist gifts. [ Like actual shops. And clothes. Prada would be nice, too. And feel free to suggest a shop. There's only a 75% chance she'll ignore it ]

Hold on, let me get this straight. You've been kidnapped, God only knows what was done to your body to give you some strange power, and then you were shuffled out to a weird house you'd only find in a movie... And all you're worried about is shopping?

[Blaine might have been ready to scout out the nearest Gap and figure out where he could get his hands on some CoverBoy gel, but it wasn't the first thing out of his mouth.]

[ Her lips curve up into an amused smile as she shakes her head. ] Unfortunately, no, I'm not. But I've got some saved up. I could maybe spot you a little for a shopping trip. [ She really does mean a little, though, because: ] Scott and I have been trying to save up to try to get a bigger place, but I'm sure I could spare some runes.

Well at least there's shops. [ She's just seriously going to have to make do, and later complain a lot about it and not be happy but there's shops ] I don't want to think about what backwards place I'd be in otherwise.

[ She pauses for a moment, then quickly replies: ] We're going for coffee. [ As much as she would love a shopping trip she knows that it would be more than what Allison's prepared for. Coffee's a good enough compromise, they can shop when she gets her own money ]

Where'd you get your money? [ And yes, she has thought of a job but she doesn't know if there are other options, or what Allison would do for a job ]

No. [ Fortunately Lydia had already spoken to people that had made her (sort of) believe what this was. Although if she hadn't this probably would have been one of the first things she'd asked about after getting the rest of it ] It's just the only thing I can control. And I need to be able to wear something, do you run around in the same thing every day?

And I'm sure that you've seen all of England. [ She's had enough bubbles burst already lately :c ]

A good majority of it. Asgard's hardly impressive in comparison. [Sorry Lydia that is just what he does :(]
