[The green girl looks well, far more than anyone riddled with bullets ought to be. Bundled up in several cat themed blankets, she casually sips her tea, the only sign of trauma being the way the cup mildly clatters in her shaky grasp.]

"Sorry to damn yoU with false hopes, brother, bUt as yoU can see, I am qUite alive. Now then, if yoU are qUite finished making a spectacle of Us both, we have a war to absolve! I see now that hiding from yoU was a mistake. ShoUld yoU have actUal need of me, I will be aroUnd."

[She averts her gaze. Only recently has she gotten used to the idea of showing her face in public, and... while she had not wanted to do it again, it would seem she needed to, if anyone were to believe she had been the victim now resurrected. She sighs.]

"From what I Understand the length of my absence has been considerably UnUsUal. I might attribUte this problem to my having gone home, or perhaps a difficUlty resUlting from my UniqUe biological sitUation, bUt it matters not. I am pleased to be among yoU once more, Asgard.

It has also come to my attention that I am the sole beneficiary of the shop I once sUpplied for. PrevioUsly, I was using my hoUse powers to create props and cosmetics of the theatrical variety. While I shoUld very mUch like to continUe doing so, I am afraid I know precioUs little aboUt what trUly rUnning a bUsiness entails. If anyone might be looking for sUch a position or a partnership of sorts, I woUld be ever so gratefUl. Certainly tailors or someone savvy with handling finances woUld not go amiss either. Until then, cheerio!"

"I seem to recall yoU being something of a seamstress. Have yoU considered employing yoUr skills?"

[She missed you a lot and was awfully worried :( Though whoops, she ended up disappearing and coming back only to find out that Callie had been killed and is still feeling guilty over it.]

[She looks up smiling semi-guiltily.]

[Wow wow wow, the most severe matron-ish frown because Calliope you are just bleeding everywhere.]

I have considered it enough that I was rather close to simply asking what my employment opportunities were in Asgard. Preferably something that allows a certain amount of freedom from the gods whims, while also employing my skills.

Business aside, what happened to you? Is this brother of yours intending on causing any further harm?

From what you're sayin', I get that you went away somehow. Curious about what you might remember about it. Where you went and what was there.

[ Screw listening to the actual message. Asahi is way too impulsive to actually wait and listen, when she hears the start she's already jumping to reply to all of it, obviously looking worried. ]

Blah blah blah who cares? [He flicks his black tongue in annoyance.] You're alive again, good for you!

[Pyro just laughs at her utterly slamming her brother. After the fear she showed of him before, it's impressive.]

That attitude right there is what you need more of.

Of course I'm up for a reschedule. Glad to see you among us again, Calliope. [He looks very relieved to see her, well, as much as Dirk can be. His shoulders visibly relax and he sets down the packing tape he'd been using to tape up a box.]

But hold up, you went home?

[There's still a lot here that Jamie's not aware of, like being able to come back from the dead. So he is very surprised - and pleased - to see Calliope again.]

[She shakes her head.]

"I was mUrdered. DreadfUl really, thoUgh brother qUite enjoyed it, I expect. Whether he intends to again or not, I cannot say. Still I do believe I will be implementing a new approach to the matter."

"I- whaa--?"

[Fully flushed, she will just be raising a pillow in front of her face now. Guh she will never get used to this.]

"..Umm I'm called a cherUb."

[Calliope flinches in the face of that incredibly sad, penetrating stare- oh no! Has she upset the other girl somehow?!]

"N-Nepeta dear, whatever is the matter?"

"Ah, nothing mUch. I had been helping oUt at Ayame's before its owners retUrned to their own respective worlds; We sold clothes, little bits and bobs and the like. Ritsu had been so creative with their designing, I thoUght I might keep to a similiar vision by theming oUr prodUcts to mirror oUr patron's own Universes. A new way to have a little taste of home, perhaps. First, I need to figUre oUt how to properly rUn a bUsiness, of coUrse!"

[She frowns slightly]

"Ah yes. Regrettably he has been the caUse of my departUre; on both accoUnts actUally. From what I hear tell he has been rather skilled at hiding presence; all the easier to catch me alone, I imagine."

[Oh hello there stranger! Calliope may just take a minute to tilt her head at yoU; the first half of her embarrassed to be, well, seen and the other to regard the question at hand. She attempts a nervous smile.]

"YoU wish to know what I recall? Well I have been dead for some time back home, so natUrally I retUrned to being dead there! It is not Uncommon for Travelers in Asgard to periodically retUrn home for a time. UnfortUnately, we are never able to recall anything of oUr time here when we do."

"Doctor! Yes, it is a pleasUre to be able to retUrn to this realm. How have yoU been faring, love?"

"Asahi!--"

[Calliope cheers the name pleasantly, but ends on a flatter note when noticing the concern on her features.]

"Yes, of coUrse? Is there some reason I--"

[And then she remembers. Oh! she has never shown you her face. She claps her hands over his mouth.]

"O-oh!"

[Upon seeing Dirk relax, she does too, releasing the breathe she did not realize she had been holding.]

"Yes. When I first arrived here, Roxy told me she had met me in a dream. It seems my timeline has finally lined Up with that event, even if we are once more oUt of synch, considering her recent visit."
