[Castiel is all business, as usual, in turning on the feed; he's broadcasting from his nice home in Freyr district, not actually at work at the moment, and he has his serious face on ~~not that that's different from usual.~~ His voice is even and clinical, but to those that know him well he sounds a bit more subdued than usual, lacking the normal underlying enthusiasm for the subjects he's about to discuss.]

When I was here before, I was working on a compilation of powers and detailed information on abilities, limitations, and uses for each of them at their different levels of strength. It is now outdated, but I would like to improve upon on it.

I am interested in hearing from anyone who has more information, even on entries that already contain details, and particularly on those that don't.

I am also interested in distribution of individuals among the houses. When I was here the first time, particularly in the first few days, Heimdall house vastly outmatched the others in terms of numbers. I am curious as to if that has changed, and how the balance stands now.

[So feel free to chime in with houses if you desire to share; he's curious, and collecting and analyzing the information will give him something to do. The public part of the feed ends there, as he switches to a private filter.]

I have not been around long enough to see that, but if what you say is true, then there is only a small number of people in Heimdall who have continued to stay for longer periods.

Any possible reason why reaching Level Three is hard for either ability?

Pity. It's exceptionally useful. When it was at the first tier, everything had to be the same size, and I could not create living creatures. Simple things, ones I could see all the parts. Water bottles were common creations, as were towels.

Beyond that, animals were possible and complicated creations. Simpler things I could make with small doodles. The more control I gained, the more that the smaller doodles could achieve greater complexity. Currently, I can craft unnatural creatures, but they cannot be gifted supernatural powers such as flaming breath. But, natural faculties are possible, and so long as the technology seems to be close to what works in this city, I can craft any sort of non-empowered material or piece with working, unseen parts.

The more complex, the more stamina. However... I have been using it constantly. I do not know what one who uses it less would feel in terms of stamina.

When I first got here I thought the whole powers thing was a ploy to get people here to warm up to the gods. I still think that so I haven't gone out of my way to use the mojo I was gifted with.

I've got Growth. It's only at the first level, of course, but I'm not complaining. I never expected to get any sort of powers back in my universe.

Well I'll start tracking my progress if I've got the time. Maybe you can work out how long it might take to master.

Yep! All my old knowledge of hexes and darkness is pretty useless here, nya ha ha!

But then- how do YOU heal? I mean- being covered in bloody wounds is pretty awesome, but eventually you'll run out of space! And blood!

Supernatural abilities do not exist there? Or are they just rare?

Which house you are placed in seems to be loosely based on personality. Perhaps more people fit the type suited to Heimdall, or those individuals were particularly desired initially.

The information is appreciated. Stamina seems to increase to some degree with practice, but there is still a limit.

[What a pity, though Castiel is being a huge hypocrite, because he has been miffed more than once that his own less than pleasant magic tricks don't work here either. Not even his wards function, which is even worse.]

Those with Damage Drain often work in with those with Healing. Healing one person is far simpler than many, so it conserves the healer's strength.

Yeah, I got that, and using it to my advantage'll help later down the line. Since I'm smack dab in some Pagan universe I might as well get a handle on the skillset in case shit hits the fan.

To my knowledge, that is true.

I don't believe it is any more or less difficult to increase in strength for either ability than it is for any other, but since it does seem based in length of time in Asgard, that few remain for long is likely the reason.

[He nods, interested.]

Do the animals have any will of their own?

[Castiel is waiting outside of the hospital an hour later, leaned quietly back against an outside wall, still and with his head bowed in apparent thought.]

Good; high powered healers are rare in both Healing and Damage Drain.

No, probabally not... but it would be nice if it did.
