(text) the second seashell

Today makes day 365. I've been in Asgard for 15 days. It's hard to believe it's been a whole year now.

I know there are people who are unhappy to be here. I don't think anyone should be forced to be in a place they don't want to be, but for now we have a duty... And I'm happy to be here, too. Even if it's selfish.

I do have a question--

What would you do if you are given more time than you expect? For whatever you might wish to do, I mean. Before I came here everything I did was missions... There's so much free time here and I can't possibly train all of the time.

Would anyone like to train together sometime?

More time? Man, what COULDN'T you do with all the time in the world. I'd start by finding even more ways to make people scream, nya ha! And I already have to start over my feather collection since none of that came over with me.

What about you? Training sounds kind of boring.

I've always trained. We weren't given any time to do anything else.

Because it's fun! Why else would you do anything? You could collect seashells again! Assuming there's a beach lurking around somewhere.

And that's reeeally boring. You'd have to drag me into doing something like that.

I don't think that sounds like a lot of fun. I hadn't thought of that, I wonder if there is one...

Training's fun to me. Some days we'd sit on top of the clock tower and eat ice cream.

To each their own! And if this place doesn't have one, it totally needs one.

What were they trainin' you for? 'Cause that sounds a LOT better than what I had in mind.

You're right. A beach can't just appear somewhere!

[She pauses.] I was training to fight monsters.

Probably not. Unless something went reeeally wrong with the ecosystem!

And you did that by eating ice cream and sitting on towers? I usually killed monsters to figure out how to fight them. Sometimes they got me pretty good instead though, nya ha!

No! That's how we had fun. We trained by fighting.

Like... nature and stuff. If you messed around with it with a really big curse or three, maybe you could get a beach.
