i guess you could consider it a particularly intense case of jet lag though
getting lodged in voids asscrack with no sun or moon for three years kind of makes you give up on keeping regular hours

What's jet lag?

when you cross between time zones and the time difference is enough to fuck with your sleep patterns
or in this case when you cross between universes and your circadian rhythm does nothing besides laughs itself sick at you

Either way I think I have to agree with you about being sick. I try not to make a habit of it myself.
