[For those people in Asgard who've only seen Conan's childish persona, the following broadcast might come as a shock. The tiny detective is not trying to act his age, deadly serious as he speaks to the feed -- and he has good reason to be.]

Asgard. This is an emergency.

Samantha Grey is no longer herself. She is dangerous, possessing Level 3 Body Control which she will not hesitate to use against those she encounters, whether they act aggressively towards her or not. She is persuasive, physically strong and unpredictable.

She is of Caucasian appearance, 5'10" tall, red-haired with horns and a tail that she sometimes hides with clothing. If you see her, notify us here immediately. Furthermore, keep an eye out for any suspicious behaviour. Samantha's usual MO is to target individuals by first isolating them from sources of help. Check in on your friends here. If you can't raise them, let us know. There's also the chance that she may employ her body control to cover her traces, so keep an eye out for people acting erratically. It's going to be hard to do that with the chaos caused by the candy going on, but definitely be on your guard.

I can't stress how urgent the situation is or how important it is that you come forward with information, no matter how small or unlikely you think it might be. If Samantha was in her right mind, she'd say the same.

She's escaped. Caused her own death, left the castle at least an hour, possibly as long as three hours ago. I'm currently in Hel, trying to find anyone who remembers seeing her leave the castle but not much luck.

I don't need to remind you how serious this is.

[The bugs had caught on... She'd been hoping to snag herself until almost nightfall, assuming that they wouldn't check in directly. They hadn't ever done so in the past because of her powers. It had been sensible, but of course someone like Conan could keep 'tabs' remotely to an extent.

Damn the lot of them. Well, no matter. She kept her mind resolutely blank and started making her way to a more secure location. She'd had a little fun... and they could play properly soon enough.]

[Oh geeze oh no oh geeze - not this stuff again.]

She managed to escape, huh? Hopefully she can be captured and restrained without hurting her.

What do you mean, not herself anymore?

Oh, great. [ As if he needed more reason to stay inside. ]

Sa― [ The voice cuts. The feed lingers for a moment longer, the background noise fuzzy, before cutting completely. Trying back later is a possibility, but right now he cannot have this. ]

[Conan's pretty sure that not hurting Sam isn't really an option at this point, but it's nice to think that Hisao is somewhat screened from the situation.]

Hisao-niisan's checked in with his friends?

Samantha-san is part demon. Most of the time she can keep her demonic heritage under control, but when the moon is as it is now, it's stronger. She was able to suppress it these last two months, but clearly something went wrong this time round.

Tavros-san's checked in with his friends?

[Was that Karuika? Conan hesitates before deciding that even if not, Samantha's former victim needs to be appraised of the situation directly. This is Conan attempting to call back.]

[ He thinks about saying something about how most of his friends have died a few times already, then realizes that no, that's not exactly true. ]

[Emphasis on that "supposed" right there, man.]

Eve-san? Samantha mentioned you'd likely be getting in touch.

In Asgard, Samantha's demonic side is subject to the same loss of power as anyone else. What makes her dangerous is that she has absolutely no restraint in using everything she has at her disposal here.

[Great, waking up to bad things happening. It was beginning to be a habit of hers. She didn't feel right either, but the least she could do was try and help.]

If you're thinking of looking for her, you should take someone with you, Matsuri-san. I'm not exagerrating when I say she's dangerous.

( Hermione looks worried, wary, but maybe a bit more business-like than he's seen her. Or maybe not. She doesn't know how he's seen her. )

Is there anything I can do?

Yeah. Didn't think I'd have to, but here we are. I'm guessing nobody's spotted her yet, right?

But you said she's not usually like this, right?

How do we help her suppress it again, then?

[The offer is unexpected -- but then again, Conan can easily imagine someone with Hermione's determination and sense of responsibility being unable to easily stand by. Her circle of acquaintances in Asgard is probably small so--]

Samantha-san's made a herbal tea that suppresses her demonic side. There's also a group of us responsible for restraining her at this time of the month.

( In fact, she was outside. Not that she expected to see a very angry Sam barreling down the street or anything. But just in case.. She wanted to be able to help others. )
