Fourth Triskele [Accidental Video -> Text]

[The bracelet begins recording small bare feet hurriedly pacing the halls of the house where the king of Camelot (not you, Uther) and his fellow Albionites reside. The feet hurry first to the bed of Morgana, and the boy peers over it as he has made a habit of doing since the lady has departed from the house. Finding it empty he hurries next to the door of the knight Lancelot and raises his hand to knock, but after a moment hesitates and instead bends down to try and see if there is light at the crack below the door or some semblance of the movement of feet. He cannot tell.

Lastly he finds himself before the door to Arthur and Merlin's room and for a long moment he stares at it, frowning, but alas he does not even kneel to check for the light or the movement of feet. The king of Camelot would not have time for such things.

Quietly he paces away and goes to sit outside on the step. Only then can it be seen that he holds a crude toy bird in each hand, messily stitched together by himself as his people had taught him.

Not knowing that he's been recorded, he decides to send a text]

Does anyone wish to play?

sworntovalor: (small smile)

[He softens at that, he can understand how much that means to him. He only wishes he had something to remember his own father by, other than memories stained with blood and horror.]

We shall try to do him proud.

[He follows the boy to the table, allowing him to set the tone and decide who does what and how.]

[ She watches him, a frown crossing her face as she moves to press her fingers to his shoulder. ]

What is on your mind?

Huh. I think you'd have better luck with the first two first and then get others to play the maze game.

[ In just a little bit, as promised, Percival appears to knock on the door. ]
sworntovalor: (I am yours to command)

don't worry, big bro's got your back

As Your Majesty pleases.

[He takes the paper in his hands with a fond smile and a small bow, before taking a seat and getting to work.]
veneficus: (And the endlessness that you fear)

You will learn yet.

[ she leans down, caresses his hair as Morgause did for her once. ]

And until you do, I am here. I will let no harm come to you.
verybigpheasants: ({Gwen} not awkward at all)

Just the one, yes. [ And he so very narrowly avoids continuing on to say "and it's not like she's a lady, don't worry." The things that he sacrifices for children, honestly. Mordred poses a very good question, though. Gwaine never thought about it in terms of the code. ] I'll admit I haven't tried since before I got knighted. Always imagined a game was a game, though, eh?
sworntovalor: (tell me more tell me more)

[personal profile] sworntovalor 2013-01-30 12:51 am (UTC)(link)
I don't think the Code restricts games.

[It hardly seems appropriate to engage in this sort of game with a lady on the one hand. On the other, there's no need to over complicate things for a child. So here, you win agreement for your sacrifice, Gwaine.]

Shall we?
veneficus: (Starless night will cover day)

I know. And you should be rest assured that I will find you, I will seek you each time.

There would be little pride in it if you did not find it good.

Ah, that is the Mother who raised me, not the one who bore me. My father's people are Men, and lived in a city, and the mother who bore me was an Ellyl, who lived in a different city. The Mother who raised me was of the Were. It is perhaps confusing.
verybigpheasants: (not executed what now bitch)

[personal profile] verybigpheasants 2013-02-03 10:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, probably about the usual. We'll set ourselves a line in the middle, and the first side that gets pulled over it is our victor. And then, perhaps, we hunt down Sir Percival to see how many of us it takes to secure a victory over him.
pratentious: (as now bear witness here❞)

this is slanderous material worthy of execution!!!

[personal profile] pratentious 2013-02-04 07:03 am (UTC)(link)
I will only drop you if you continue to struggle. Concede defeat and be spared.

[ You will only find a sleepy grin on the King's face here, young Druid. Arthur doesn't carry him up the stairs to the loo but instead props Mordred up on the counter in the kitchen, turning on the sink to let the water warm. He gives a deep yawn, reaching towards the clasp on the boy's cloak. ]

All right, let's have this then. I'll get Merlin to throw it in the wash later on.
pratentious: (at the end of my road❞)

......touche.

[personal profile] pratentious 2013-02-04 08:17 am (UTC)(link)
[ Arthur gives a moment's pause once the cloak's been bundled up and tossed into the corner to blink down at the toys in Morded's hands, looking from one to the other as they rest on his shoulders. No displeasure here, though there's a sleepy haze of confusion that slowly bleeds away to a quiet smile. ]

Friends of yours?

Because I was unwanted, child. And perhaps, in the greater story, so that I may be who I am now. Someone had to be.
