[There's a very quiet shuffling in the background, punctuated by a distant 'baa' right before Naminé begins to speak.]

Happy Holidays, everyone.

[She sounds to be in a fairly good mood.]

If anyone could suggest a place that I might be able to house my sheep while it's cold, I'd really appreciate it. It just seems wrong to leave her outside, and she's been in my room, but-- [Whoops, looks like she had to turn away from the bracelet for a moment.] Bo Peep, please don't do that...! [More clearly again,] ... but I've been thinking that it might not be the best place for her. Thank you-- Bo Peep, no! That's not food--

[Aaaaaaand there goes the feed.]

Holidays?

Yes, holidays. Do they not have those this time of year in your world?

[She says it gently, without any sort of criticism; it's an honest question.]

Sheep have rather effective natural insulation, Miss Naminé. So effective that humans use it for themselves. Anywhere with a few walls would undoubtedly be sufficient.

Are you certain that would really be enough? She's still so small...! -- I'm sorry. I do appreciate the advice. I guess I'm a bit of a-- [what's that word again-- oh,] ... worrywart. It would be terrible if something were to happen to her. [-- Pause, headshake.] But-- thank you.

...there is the solstice...but you said holidays...do you have many?

The solstice? [For a second she wonders if that has anything to do with Christmas, or if it's something else entirely, but she's got a question to answer, so she doesn't linger on it.] Mm-- well, I'm really only familiar with Christmas. But with so many worlds out there, it's hard to know what holidays there might be in each one. And-- with the way the city is, it's difficult to be sure about this place, too.

Yes...it is the shortest day of the year, when the sun is lowest in the southern sky. [He looks on more curiously] What is Christmas?

Huh. [... Probably not the strangest thing ever to be celebrated, even if she didn't quite think of that - although now that she considers it, she suspects she remembers some kind of use of that word before.] Do you do anything special on that day? [Although she won't leave that other question unanswered, either.] Christmas is a day when people give gifts to each other. I think mostly they give them to the people most special to them, their family and friends. It's also the day all the good boys and girls get to open the presents Santa Claus left for them the night before. But they say that if you're bad, Santa Claus will know, and instead of presents, you'll only get coal.

Some people did, yes. I was never so lucky, but I'm very glad to have the opportunity to do it here. And-- you celebrated them in yours, didn't you?

They do live in such conditions even without walls in the wild, you know. Usually in herds, I believe, they stand to block the wind naturally, or something of the sort. Such animals possess - ah - certain virtues, and [..."while intelligence is not perhaps one of them", he doesn't say...] one of them is hardiness to weather conditions.

Hm.... I suppose that does make sense. They do have all that wool.

[There's a pause, and judging by the quiet 'baa' in the background, Bo Peep is getting a little attention as Naminé considers this.]

... Is it strange that it's still hard for me to imagine putting her out there? I feel a bit silly. [Just too protective of that lamb for her own good--]

Oh! I might need to know a good place for my sheep too! I'm afraid she might eat everything in my house whenever I go out, but I don't want to lock her in a room or something. That would be really mean to do to her!

Maybe we could find a place for them to stay.

I know what you mean...! [Guess who's been trying to keep Bo from eating her drawings all day?] I've been having a hard time teaching her what not to eat. [Or getting her to cooperate, anyway. ~~Bo's a bit of a trouble maker.~~]

Maybe. It might even be nice for them to have some company.

It's not strange, no. But rationally speaking, I'm afraid it is a bit silly. Is it your first pet?

Mm. I was afraid of that. [There's only a brief pause, then, a faint smile in her voice,] Yes, she is. That was probably obvious, wasn't it?

It's not very useful to tell someone not to worry in such cases. However, I would suggest that taking too much care of something often ends up troublesome for them, in the same way that taking not enough care of them can.

[She's quiet a moment, though when she speaks again, her voice is totally unoffended.]

[And she really does appreciate it; the more prepared she is the better, as far as she's concerned.]

Never? Then, that's all the more reason to make sure that this Christmas is really great~! Hihihi!
