[When Ranka activates her video feed, she's standing outside as she takes a slow breath before she starts speaking. When she does, the pace is upbeat and very warm.]

I was actually thinking about this for a while, but with all the grey it can really make a difference in people's moods, right? So I was wondering if there are others out there that feel like we should be doing something to fight that?

[A pause as she considers her words carefully.]

Maybe like getting together, and playing music or singing together? I think it would be a lot of fun and it could brighten things up a bit.

Would anyone be interested? Let me know!

I wouldn't mind getting together, but I can't sing -- and I don't have any instruments either ...

Although maybe a game of soccer wouldn't be a bad idea? That's fun!

Maybe we can do all sorts of things together. I don't think I've ever played soccer before, but I wouldn't mind learning!

That's not a bad idea! My friends and I take it in turns to decide what we're doing -- sometimes we play baseball instead.

Soccer's more fun though! And you don't need as much stuff to play it -- just a ball.

I'm sure there will be all sorts of opportunities to get together and do things like play soccer together. After all, none of us have any idea how long we'll be here.

We really don't ... and to get home, we're going to need all our strength and support, so making good friends is really important!

I think so too, besides it's lonely if you don't make friends.

That's a good idea... we're supposed to be doing things to bring back color, but nothing's changed so far.

Oneechan must have lots of friends, huh.

Actually, I just got settled in, so now I have time to catch up with everyone I talked to when I arrived.

In my world, music is a very big thing, so that's why I thought if people got together and sang or played music, maybe it would help.

Have you tried asking the people in Freyr? There ought to be musicians there.

I was kind of hoping they would respond here too, but I thought maybe there were other people that liked music that weren't in Freyr.

It's better to start somewhere and work from there, right? In situations like this it's good to go with what you know.

That's a good point... I've done some acting. [ ...at least... he was in a drama club... which probably had something to do with acting... at some point... ]

Acting is a lot of fun, but it's hard work too. I was actually in a movie back in my world.

[Yeah, remembering that also causes her to blush and look down for a moment.]

No, I actually sing as a job. The movie was just something Elmo, my manager, got for me. I guess the director heard me singing, and the girl playing the part I got was injured...So the part went to me.

After the movie, I started singing full time.

That's still pretty impressive... you must be a very good singer if it got you a movie role.

Maybe even good enough to fix this place.
