[When the video comes on, Will is sitting there and he looks absolutely pleased. Only, not really. It looks like he may have swallowed a lemon, and his brow furrows as he sits there. Oh, and there he goes talking.]

So. That's it then?

Has anyone noticed that nothing really changed. I may have not been here long but even I can tell nothing changed after that battle.

People died for this and nothing was solved. It's just like having to deal with spoiled brats who tell people to fight for them and then they don't deliver back home.

[He knows that point only too well, and he just scowls before just rubbing at his forehead and sighing.]

Right, but when do people ever listen?

[She heaves a sigh.]

Ah, I cannot believe I'm about defend humans.

So many little ironies and hypocrites in this world. And in our own worlds. "Spoiled brats".

What were some of these being supposed to do? Die without a fight? You speak of those who died for nothing, but it is better to fight to live than to die without fighting. You fight to live, you live to fight. Of course nothing has changed -- such is life. There will be battles and conflicts along the way. Seasons come and go as much as something changes in one's life. Perhaps the sacrifice of a god has faltered all of your return home. Or perhaps you haven't fought hard enough. Hold your tongue; they beckon you to come here to fight and you speak of them in spite. The gods have enough power to punish you.

But perhaps what I don't understand is this cry that nothing has changed. Tell me, then. When so many were threatened, were they supposed to do when those creatures threatened their lives? I would much like to hear it; humans have such contradictory ideals.

I won't get to return home either way. What can they do to punish me? Kill me again? I was already dead to begin with.

[He's never been good at expressing himself, and it shows. He grips his fingers to the side of his head as he purses his lips in thought. His eyebrows furrow as he grits his teeth.]

I'm angry with those same Gods. Weren't things supposed to change? I don't pretend to understand everything but it's exactly like-

[He takes a deep breath.]

Then what were you expecting? You still didn't answer the question what you wanted your kind to do in response to being attacked. Of course the normal reaction is to fight back, no matter ludicrous and wasteful it is.

If you were dead to begin with, perhaps you recall the last moments of your life where you fought. Nothing was in vain, whatever changes may come will be unpredictable.

[Ugh. She's right, he died saving Arthur because it was important and Merlin had told him Arthur would become a good king but..]

I never said what they did was wrong, but the outcome hasn't been fair to the people who fought and died so far!

Death is simply not fair.

Now, tell me, boy. Human. What will you do now as a result? What will you do to change the course of those who passed that they have not died for naught? Shall we commemorate their deaths with more battle or perhaps destroy the gods?

[He rubs a hand over his face and sighs.]

Keep living. That's all anyone can do in this situation, right? Fighting with the same people that got us here would be stupid at this point.

Even though I don't like them, wasting extra effort on that right now is pointless. Everyone seems to pick up the pieces and move on so that would be better than anything.

To pick up and move forward. But, it doesn't mean it's not frustrating.

Do not shame their deaths by bitterness and frustration.

It will swell and boil in you, but to feel this way achieves nothing.

So I'm just supposed to be okay with everything?

And where have I said that?

You didn't. But, you seem to have some idea as to how I should deal with all of this.

[The pale woman switches it to video, and simply points to one eye.]

Actually, yes. I have faced the wrath of gods before and have been in the Otherworld.

And I was beckoned to join in a battle.

[He looks at her, taken back a little.]

Back home. I did too. The battle part I mean, not the wrath of the Gods or anything like that.

[Regina likes to think she knew how those giants functioned. After all, it's a well kept secret Regina was doing the same thing. As the giants. Her hatred and loneliness that swelled up in her heart for as long as she remembered led her to that. Eating and blacking out everything without a care in the world, up until she lost her eye. She'd tell him she agrees: it's pointless. But as an ovate, she can't do that. Gods require bloodshed, simple as that.]

You clear off one plain and save a kingdom. The next will roll in very shortly. It's not a matter of why or if, it's when. For all we know, they may not be satisfied with just Freyr's sacrifice. They could want more.

Though that's hardly the point. It is not take it as it comes and wash it away in apathy. It's to give the dead peace by remembrance and doing what needs to be done in their name. Even the littlest of things.

[He listens and sighs rubbing at the top of his head, messing his hair up as she listens. It's hard to listen to, and she's right. But, like her he doesn't say that out loud, and he only watches her for a moment.]

Fine. You have a few good points.

[DRIPPING WITH SARCASM.]

Well, how flattering.

[Sorry, that's all you're getting out of him. Really. He's not the type of person to easily admit something, so he bites down and sighs, and grits his teeth for a moment.]

I would hope that you're right. Maybe it makes things a little easier.

[Men.

No, wait. More like human men is more like it. Stupid humans.]

[And Regina says that confidently.]

[Woah. That's pretty confident there. He just watches her for a second and takes a deep breath.]

Right then. This has been interesting.

[Hey, now, there's nothing wrong with that or her ghostly appearance.]

Oh? I guess not. I thought you'd get sore at me, then we'd argue and the conversation would be over.

[Hey, he thinks she's quite pretty okay?]
