BACKDATED TO YESTERDAY ➔ 1ST MUTATION ➔ VIDEO
Better late than never, I'd say.
[ Charles has been trying to adjust to life in Asgard. He was pulled out of his world, at the worst possible time only to arrive to the fact - he was void of his telepathy. Adjusting is a work in progress. But he's treating this thing like it was a presentation or a lecture, so he's doing his best to look adequate. Like it's not getting to him. The smile he passes is an easy one. ]
I suppose, it's common courtesy to introduce oneself over the network. My name is Charles Xavier. Before arriving in Asgard, I was a professor of Genetics. I had written a thesis on genetic advancements, mutations. People with gifts. Gifts that were very much so similar to the 'powers' bestowed to us by these gods. Gifts with untapped potential to be the catalyst for a better world.
In Asgard, we are a put at a point - where everyone is put on equal footing. Everyone is in possession of these gifts and we're capable of having peaceful cohabitation. But it does beg the question, before Asgard - was anyone in possession of gifts?
[ FILTERED | ERIK LENSHERR ; RAVEN DARKHOLME ]
Are you two here as well? Your names showed up on the directory.

UGH HDU. And by that I mean I will backtag forever too.
[ She watches him curiously and finally laughs. ] And it isn't a tale, you know. But it was truly wonderful. I've been back since, but... but I won't get to go back anymore. But I was twenty three when we left Narnia. Or nearly.
[ She shrugs her shoulders. ] I must seem rather silly to you. But you were asking about gifts? You must have talents, then!

[ a laugh - he was expecting this question to come up eventually. ]
I was certainly in possession of my own magic tricks. Are you good at keeping secrets, Lucy?

[ Lucy has never lied in her life, not intentionally, but she's seen others do the same for the good of others or their world. ]
Yes, I can keep secrets safe. I had to keep Narnia a secret, and, well, I still do sometimes.

Do what one needs to do to keep a sense of a peace.
[ Charles has lied a reasonable amount; but he avoids it when he can. Only if it's for the better. ]
Before I came into Asgard, I could read minds. [ he offers smoothly. Because, after all - why hide? ] - I can't do it now, so if you're thinking of a number and asking me to guess - I will most certainly get it wrong.
RL sucks. feel free to drop this if you need to! <3
[ How sad that must be. She remembers losing Narnia, and while it's not the same, it felt like a part of her just suddenly went missing.]
SWEETIE I will backtag for pretty long! its cool! /CLINGS TO! c:
- It did. I've been with these powers my whole life, so to be without it - it's ... certainly - a new sensation.
