BACKDATED TO YESTERDAY ➔ 1ST MUTATION ➔ VIDEO

Better late than never, I'd say.

[ Charles has been trying to adjust to life in Asgard. He was pulled out of his world, at the worst possible time only to arrive to the fact - he was void of his telepathy. Adjusting is a work in progress. But he's treating this thing like it was a presentation or a lecture, so he's doing his best to look adequate. Like it's not getting to him. The smile he passes is an easy one. ]

I suppose, it's common courtesy to introduce oneself over the network. My name is Charles Xavier. Before arriving in Asgard, I was a professor of Genetics. I had written a thesis on genetic advancements, mutations. People with gifts. Gifts that were very much so similar to the 'powers' bestowed to us by these gods. Gifts with untapped potential to be the catalyst for a better world.

In Asgard, we are a put at a point - where everyone is put on equal footing. Everyone is in possession of these gifts and we're capable of having peaceful cohabitation. But it does beg the question, before Asgard - was anyone in possession of gifts?

It seems their physical bodies have been altered to be more humanoid, but their minds remain "ponylike." They refer to people as "everypony," for instance.

Although the bracelet is perfectly capable of activating rather easily at times without any physical intervention.

I'm not sure if any of them are still there. I think many of them, indeed, disappeared.

As for the bracelets, they are, it seems, indestructible by present means, so it's hard to know.

I have examined their occurrences at various times. Tentatively, I think that those who haven't obeyed the god's mandates -- to socialize, that is, and bring color to the world -- are more likely to disappear. Those people are also more likely to have low levels of their god powers. However, it isn't a hard and fast rule.

Ah, pardon me, but to be precise, bringing color is feeling any emotion -- not being friendly, merely. It literally brings color into the world; try it and you'll see.

Oh, no, not to them, necessarily. Among ourselves. It changes the physical location around us. Imagine it in the same sense that an exothermic chemical reaction gives off heat to its immediate surroundings as a by-product. In this case, any "exochromic social reaction" gives off color to the immediate surroundings.

Hm, essentially, that's correct, it seems.

It does happen, regularly. But I believe they need emotions of all kinds, not just positive ones.

Indeed. And like a diet, I think a variety is better than a single type.

Isn't it?

But there you have it. That's the process they work under. And it's not one that generally brings inhabitants, it seems, pleasure. Most of them don't understand the necessity of variation when it comes to their personal comfort.
