People of Asgard,

It had been assumed, after the recent attack on our city, that our enemies are able to use their power to imitate horrors from our respective realms against us. Be it a curse, a monster or any other mean with which they can attempt to bring this city to its knees.

For the sake of our safety and that of our friends and families, I mean to suggest a city-wide endeavor. The city was, unfortunately, unprepared for the battle that took place within it. To prevent such from happening again, its people are to unite their knowledge of horrors and monsters of different realms and how one may repel them.

For such to happen, it shall require the representatives of the different realms; it does not matter if there is only man or a dozen, to fashion a document of a sort. In which one may find a detailed description of creatures, curses or any other terrors that might be used against us and what may be used to repel them.

I know efforts have been made to put together all knowledge of this city and its Gods. It occurred to me that in order to perfect such wonderful endeavors, each men and women must think back of their own realm so when such a guide is created, we could hopefully use it to identify and react with haste and efficiency the next time our enemies raise their heads against us.

My own city had seen its share of curses and monsters and I am certain others have great input that could be of use. I urge you to put such knowledge on a scroll or in a message such as this that can be easily sent to me using our bracelets.

Any assistance regarding such endeavors shall be appreciated. It is my intention to walk among the halls of the respective God Houses to collect scrolls and information from the different residents.

Such efforts shall undoubtedly take much time and effort. Any knowledge that you may provide us with shall be greatly appreciated. My own city had seen a fair share of monsters, itself.

Count me in. I'll try to compile something as far as my world's perspective is concerned, but most of my experience is very first-hand, not so much the detailed and thorough sort. I didn't have that much time most days to pin down vulnerabilities, though abilities are a little more familiar to me.

[Oh dear oh dear. That's rather a lot to ask.]

Shall I write a book?

[ And now for an undue pause while the really important facts are taken away. ]

...Heimdall. So, you're the... Heimdall sort of person.

I should think there is advantage in that. You would know how to briefly describe the thing and would also know the extent of its power, if you had battled it personally. If such things come from your world, at the very least we shall know what they can do. I cannot offer the same expertise for beings of my own world; I am rather happy there are others from Camelot to offer such.

[ But so politely asked, you have to admit. ]

If it pleases you. I daresay that I imagine a rather vast book shall eventually be complied with so many worlds that are apparently filled with beings that can be used against us. However, I should deem it appropriate to compile such, even if the process shall prove to be dire. You do not have to supply all of the information at once. I reckon that it shall be a slow process that can eventually only help, no matter the size of the directory. Anything is better than nothing and it shall prove itself useful to future Travelers.

[ she grins, then. ]

Not a book, then. Whatever you may hand in shall be welcomed and blessed. I realize we are all quite busy and have not the necessary amount of time to sum up our world in writing.

[ A puzzled pause on this end as she tries to understand what being a Heimdall person implies. ]

I belong to his house, truly. Though I cannot say much regarding the sort of person it proves me to be.

- sorry. They said people in houses tend to be - alike. Or special in some way. So... so, I wondered what someone in Heimdall must be like. Must act like. Sound like. And here you are.

[ A small chuckle leaves her lips. She remembers, suddenly, that her speech may sound archaic to some as their own is basically another language to her. ]

I should think not. That would depend on the realm from which you hail from. I have met others of my House who do not speak as I do. We differ from one another, certainly, in both speech and other traits. To which God house do you belong, if I may ask?

[Very politely, yes.]

I don't think time is a problem for me. Could write a book, with how much I've faced that could be or is a threat. Wouldn't be a huge book, ruling out the harmless things, but still a book. Maybe I can narrow things down.

[ Oh, no. ]

You shall shower us in important knowledge, by all means. I, at least, shall be very thankful for your endeavors. Perhaps your writing shall win you great glory.

...One may resign from a God House? Why have you? Did the God of your house displeased you?

[ if it so, she can entirely understand. Lord knows, she has about a dozen of bones to pick with Heimdall. ]

I had to. It had to be done. I submitted my resignation. Whether it was received, that's... not for me to say.

What's he like? Heimdall.

I can only say how he had been to me; other shall perhaps offer other words of him.

[ her voice grows a tad harsher, there is an edge there. ]

Fickle, cruel. They all seem to share a fondness for curses and the like. I mislike it.

Glory? Who needs glory? I don't. Actually, I don't want it.

A man that has no wish for glory. Such an exception. In my own land, every man I've met have wished for an amount of it. Some for much and some for little; but none for nothing.

May I have the name of one so extraordinary?

Perhaps it comes with age. I can't really remember if I ever wanted it. Maybe a little.

[Doesn't she come off different from what he would have expected, going with the legends.]

You speak of age and yet you seem so young. Shall I ask for your age or will I be risking you thinking me impolite?

[ there is a small smile on her lips as she nods. ]

You have met my brother? Arthur is my younger sibling, true enough.

I have. He seemed very excited to know my name.

[A bit of a pause. Well, he doesn't ever really keep his age all that secret.]

When we're talking about people coming from all kinds of different realms, I wouldn't count on appearance speaking for age, Morgana. I'm probably older than most of you. I've traveled for hundreds of years; you pick up a lot of knowledge and wisdom along the way.

I've seen pride and glory ruin many men and societies.

Pride and glory shall always either lead to greatness and prosperity or to death and certain doom.

[ she had seen both, herself, but not like him, surely. ]

So many years you have traveled, you must have such interesting stories of times and places. I cannot imagine a richer journey.

It's definitely been incredible. I don't think I'll ever run out of things to see before I actually die.

[It does make it worth all the pain, somehow. Often only just barely, but it does.]

Did he say anything to you?

No; never. The gods deem me important enough for their tricks but not for an audience with their oh so honored selves.

[ she is bitter, yes. The last few months have been difficult thanks to their tricks and she is angry with them, very much so. ]
