[ Isaac is sitting on the steps of the Freya Welcoming Hall, his leg jiggling and he’s still fidgeting with the bracelet. (The technology here is really like something from a movie.) So... Not a werewolf. ]

Alright. That was weird to say the least.

[ He stops fidgeting, stops moving his leg, and finally looks up to the recording. ]

Everything she said… [ He stops short and closes his mouth, trailing off mid-sentence. No surprise, he wants to ask if there are others out there de-wolfed, but he doesn’t know how weird that’d be to ask here. ] It’s all true, isn’t it?

So we’re supposed to be helping this place for some crazy reason? [ Kidnapped and missing the only power he had, he’s a little doubtful about Asgard. He was stronger before here. ] What are we supposed to do about it?

I hate to say it, but I don’t think I’m saving anyone with this power.

[ If Derek was one to show any sort of positive feelings on his face, he might actually smile at the sight of Isaac. Honestly, it's a relief to see him as much as he might not want anyone from his pack to be stuck in this place.

He doesn't recognize the place where Isaac is sitting, though it's clearly nowhere in the Thor District. But don't worry, he'll find you if it comes down to that. Pack stays together.

For now have an as-relieved-as-Derek-Hale-can-sound greeting that goes something like this; ]

Isaac.

Derek? [ On the other hand, the relief isn't nearly as well guarded with Isaac when he sees a familiar face on the video feed. The droop of his shoulders picks up and shifts towards the edge of the step, at once he looks more attentive, less anxious. ]

I didn't think you'd be here.

[ But he should have thought that through a little better. If he's here, why not Derek -- whose stronger, better? ]

[ So many of them from Beacon Hills are already here, so Isaac's arrival shouldn't come as a surprise to Scott. Even so, he gets the usual dumbfounded expression on his face. He doesn't know whether to smile or pity Isaac for showing up here... No, he's definitely leaning more towards pity because Derek is here and he's grumpier than ever because of Scott. He should probably warn Isaac about that.

Scott focuses on the background of Isaac's video... Much to Scott's joy he recognizes it. In actual fact he's nearby, what with Scott being in his room in Freya. It doesn't take him longer than a minute to make his way to the welcoming hall. He walks up to Isaac sitting on the steps. Prepare to be greeted with a familiar, friendly face. ]

Isaac!

[ Asgard -- whatever kind of name that was -- didn't sound too close to Beacon Hills. Isaac definitely hadn't expected to see many familiar people, which is exactly why he's surprised to see Scott. Well, he hears him first, but he doesn't really believe it until he turns his head and sees him.

Isaac scrambles to stand up quick, cutting the bracelet off, and his face lighting up.]

Hey. [He manages a small, short smile for Scott despite lingering confusion.] You too, huh? [Then his gaze follows the stairs back to the house -- where Scott came from and eyebrow picks up.] Wait, do they have you staying here, too?

Yeah, and Allison. [ It's a relief that Isaac is in the same house as him. He's been worrying over the fact that Stiles and Jackson are on other sides of the city in different houses especially after the dangerous week they've had (he'll tell Isaac about that later). It's why Scott is so determined for them to rent their own house so they can all come together and Scott doesn't have to worry about the others being so far away if something bad happens again. ]

It's only temporary. [ If all goes according to plan. ] We'll be moving out eventually... You should live with us. [ He should probably ask who 'us' is before he agrees to anything. ]

[ 'Oh' practically hangs on his lips at hearing Allison is there. Derek, Scott, and Allison then. He definitely hadn't expected there to be so many from Beacon Hills. He's definitely more surprised he's getting an invitation to live with them though and both his eyebrows go up at that.

It doesn't occur to him that 'us' could mean more than Scott and Allison -- and maybe Stiles, if he's here. ] Whoa, are you sure? [ Scott is nice and all, but... Isaac shifts awkwardly tucking his hands into his pockets. ] You should probably ask your girlfriend first, you know.

[ And he should probably talk to Derek first. ]

[ Scott expects Isaac to be hesitant, but not because of Allison. ] I doubt Allison would have a problem with you living us. [ Her and Isaac aren't on bad terms as far as he knows, not since he started working with the pack to stop the kanima. ]

Neither would Stiles... Oh, Stiles is here too. And Jackson. [ He looks significantly less cheerful at the mention of Jackson's name. ] And Derek. [ His face looks positively disgruntled when he brings up Derek. Their last encounter here was... well, violent. ]

[Isaac looks doubtful; maybe Scott doesn't remember the last time, but he definitely still remembers the pain and thinking she was going to kill him. He doesn't say anything else about it. ]

Oh. [ So, just about the entire gang. He doesn't miss the way Scott says certain names. ] Well, I guess things have been going as good as always then?

It's been awesome. [ He replies without a trace of pleasantness in his voice. If it wasn't for Allison and Stiles, and now Isaac, he'd probably be miserable here stuck with Derek and Jackson. ]

So... how it's feel being practically human again? [ He observes the other boy, knowing it must feel strange for him, like it did for Scott when he first came here, being stripped of his werewolf abilities and given just one power that isn't at all helpful in a fight. Scott was a lot happier about it than Derek since all he's ever wanted was to be normal again since he was bitten. But since his "chat" with Derek he's been desperately missing his wolf side that would enable Scott to stand up to him. Here, Derek can push him around, literally, and Scott is no match for him. He pretty much hates the gods for giving Derek the power of super strength. ]

[ He shrugs, shoulders drooped and his hands still in his pockets. Being a werewolf hadn't exactly been fun, but unlike Scott, it was his choice. He'd felt more comfortable with that power, even with the Argents and the kanima and the moon. More than that, he'd gotten used to it -- it feels like his head is underwater with how dull his sense are. ] It's... weird. It's going to take a while to get used to this again.

It's the same for the others, isn't it? Like this and with some weird other power?

Yeah. [ Which is probably a blessing in disguise as far as Jackson is concerned, coming from a time where he's still the kanima. ] You should see Stiles' power. It's really cool. He's like Mr. Freeze. [ He can't help but chuckle. ]

What's yours? [ He eyes Isaac curiously. ]

Mine's not nearly as cool as freezing, I can tell you that much. [ He can't help being a little jealous that Stiles has the useful power here. Isaac looks down and rubs a little awkwardly at his neck. ] She said that I could, uh, transfer energy?

[ He looks back up to Scott helplessly and the way he watches him hints that Isaac hasn't figured out what he's supposed to do with that. When's that ever going to be useful? ]

[ Scott is equally as jealous of Stiles, but he's also happy for him. It makes him cooler than Scott here which Stiles probably enjoys.

Scott clearly has a look on his face that says 'I don't get it' when Isaac reveals his power. You've probably seen that look on him before. ] Dude, try it. It might not be as lame as you think. [ He encourages Isaac. Maybe he'll understand it better in action... of course he has no idea it involves kissing. ]

[ Hope you enjoy a less than impressed face looking right at you Isaac. Sup former neighbor?

( He's never really paid much attention to you tbh, except for when he'd had to testify about you killing your dad or something. Sorry about that. But he's not really. )

Either way, he remembers that you might be with Derek now and that can't ever mean anything good. ]

Lahey?

[ There's no way this isn't as lame as it sounds and as humiliating as it was described. Why couldn't he get a Mr. Freeze ability? He lets out a breath of a laugh and shakes his head.] I don't think you really want me to try it.

[ He does want to try it out, because it's all he's got to work with. Humiliation outweighs curiosity, though. ] What about you?

[ Scott doesn't get why Isaac is so reluctant to show him his power. Maybe he's just being shy or something. ]

I'll show you mine and then you show me yours. [ And suddenly he goes silent as he concentrates. He focuses on Isaac, not making eye contact with him because that might freak him out a little if he just stared at him without saying anything. In a couple of moments Isaac should feel pleasant and comfortable rather than awkward or any other negative feelings. He meets Isaac's eyes when he's finished. ]

Uh... yeah. That's it. I mean, if it worked. You should feel better... It works better on Stiles when he's stressed out.

[ To be honest, Isaac's surprised Jackson bothered to reply at all. But he remembers him from a different time, where it might not be wholly unreasonable for it to happen. None the wiser Jackson's not up to speed on his own life.]

That's me. Scott mentioned that you were around. It's like half Beacon Hills is here.

[ It's a little unnerving how many familiar faces from Beacon Hills are showing up. Unnerving, but at least this time it's someone Derek doesn't mind seeing. The same pack rules don't apply here though, having Isaac around won't make Derek stronger -- can't, when neither of them are as they should be. But Isaac is still his responsibility in a way, even here in Asgard. ]

I am, along with some others from Beacon Hills. [ The rest don't matter though, not when it's Scott who made his side clear by working with Gerard, an Argent, that motormouth kid Stiles, and the Kanima. ]

Which District are you in? [ He'll come find you. ]

That's sorta nice. [ Isaac was stressed out some so as minor as the ability is, it helps. He meets Scott's eyes easier, doesn't feel as uncomfortable or embarrassed. Even gets a teasing smile out of him. ] You should try that with Derek sometime.

[ It's his turn and, alright, so Scott can give off warm fuzzy feelings? Being able to transfer a little energy isn't so lame. ] Give me your hand? [He holds out his own, palm up, waiting for Scott's own.] Just don't punch me, alright?

Good. I wouldn't want to make you feel worse. [ He laughs at the idea of using his power to put Derek in a good mood. ] No thanks. Have you see him smile? It's creepy.

[ He arches an eyebrow at Isaac's request, but he trusts Isaac, so he stretches out his hand to the other boy, palm facing downwards. ] I haven't punched Jackson since I got here. It would take a lot for me to want to punch you.

[ Derek isn't the Alpha here. Isaac can practically feel it. The bone-deep instincts he used to have when it came to Derek are missing, but, even just as a human, though, he feels like the leader. And Isaac could use a little leading right now. ]

Freya? I think that's what she said. [ She said a lot, a lot of which didn't mean much to him at the moment.] Are you coming?

[ Isaac can't help but be hopeful, because he's got questions. Like about this whole not a werewolf thing. He still feels off-kilter. ]

Thanks. [It's stupid, but he really does appreciate it and it's not just the good mood. The good mood might be at fault for the chuckle at the joke, though.] Don't let him hear you saying that.

[ He loosely grabs Scott's hand with his own, mostly just lightly catching his fingers. ] Well, this just might be a lot. [Isaac lowers his head, bringing Scott's hand to his lips. His eyebrows bunch up, because he knows how this works in theory, but putting it to action is a different story. He just tries to will some of his own energy to Scott. After a moment, he looks back up to Scott.] Do you feel anything?

I wouldn't want to give him more reasons to kill me... [ It sounds like he's joking but he's actually quite serious.

His eyes maybe widen a little when Isaac's lips come into contact with his hand, but Scott figures that's just necessary to make the power work and Isaac isn't actually trying to make a move on him. Besides, he can feel Isaac's power working. ] I kind of feel like I just had a can of red bull.

[ Well, it worked. Isaac can feel the other side of effects himself and it comes on like he's had a long day and is just a little tired. He lets go of Scott's hand and straightens up. ] Alright, so they took away the claws and gave us this?

[That isn't a fair trade at all.]

How come Stiles got the cool power?

So far, it does seem to be all true.

What's your power? As illogical as they come off in some ways, I don't think they'd give anyone a power that couldn't be useful somehow.
